The app is good I just hate how ugly the widgets are and you have to buy pro to get the good widgets+ if a line is too long you only see a portion of that line and then the whole thing makes no sense

hey there — i'm alec the dev behind Lyrics!tysm for trying out the app and dropping some thoughts for us here :).i hear you on the widgets though. we tried to make the default widget clean and simple so it goes with all home screens.for the text being cut off, are you using the smallest widget? there is a bit of tweaking that can be done on my end to make this resize better (sorry about that!)would love to hear more from you if you're down? just drop me an email at alec@wndn.studio!tysm again for trying out Lyrics!alec

Well-Made, Feels Disingenuous

The app is pretty well made for the most part! I’ve had some issues with the music glitching but that’s rare. With that being said, I legit have no use for this app because you have to pay to use any of the widgets that produce the actual lyrics. I only add that this feels disingenuous because the app serves zero purpose UNLESS you purchase the premium subscription, which is overpriced at about $15 a month. I find that amongst all subscription based apps typically there’s at least a free option. On the chance that is an error on my part, please let me know and I’d be more than happy to adjust the review. Other than that, I would not download this unless you’d like to pay weekly for lyrics in the car.

Mikalaaaaaaaaaaa
Extremely disappointed. First, the lyrics do not sync properly with the music, which completely defeats the purpose of a karaoke app. On top of that, it shows up tiny on my CarPlay screen, making it hard to read while driving.The biggest issue? It stops working after one song. For $30, this is absolutely unacceptable. An app at this price point should function smoothly and reliably. Instead, it feels unfinished and buggy.Definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this app in its current state.

For every song you need to go in and change the speed or you need to refresh the app. You cannot listen to multiple songs back to back without it not syncing correctly. They make you pay money before you can even see what it looks like and you do not get a trial. That being said I paid for it and canceled the subscription with in 1 hour because it was not working. Yet I still am out the money. Very disappointing.
