The automatic ad skipping has been really nice and I’ve enjoyed it tremendously. But all the time that I’ve saved in skipping ads has been taken up by fighting and battling with the queue manager putting old, or duplicate, or multiple-times deleted podcasts into the play queue that I didn’t want there. This app has a lot of potential, but it just wasn’t good enough for me to continue after the seven day free trial. I’ll probably come back in a year and see if the UI is any better, because I listen to a lot of podcasts and this app is definitely something that I need but I just can’t stand the lack of control of what’s going into the play the play queue.

I’m a major hater of ads on tv and podcasts. Nothing worse then stopping what you’re doing to skip through 5 minutes of ads…best use of AI I can think of!

Ad removal is quite accurate and is great. The download function seems to be a bit flaky. If this and playlists are worked on this would easily be a 5 star app

AI took too long to process the ad breaks and the process only took place once a podcast was selected to be listened to. I would have expected that as podcasts were downloaded, the ads were edited out.

Thanks for your feedback! Currently the automatic downloads also attempts to scan the intro for ads at least, so that the episode can be played immediately. Doing a full ad scan for all followed shows doesn't complete in time in the background, but I am still experimenting with workarounds. Also once an episode has been scanned by at least one user then the scan happens almost instantly for further users, so performance should only increase as more users join the app.
- Jump straight in: you no longer need an account to start listening. Sign in any time to save your library and sync it across devices.
- Autoplay now only adds episodes you haven't started. To include unfinished episodes too, turn on "Include Unfinished Episodes" in Playback settings.
- Up Next episodes you've already started now pick up where you left off.
- Fixed an issue where your place in an episode could jump back, or an episode could show as played before you'd finished it.
- Fixed the green "ready" badge staying on episodes whose download had been removed to free up space.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
