My Lampster would no longer connect to the app, no matter what I tried, so my last attempt was to uninstall and reinstall the app. Now there are less features than before, and the interface is uglier as well (the light intensity slider design is weirdly stretched).I really liked the feature that allowed you to set a time for the Lampster to turn on, and now this feature no longer exists. There were a couple other features too that are gone as well, like the one that let you sync the Lampster to music.Was there an update? If so, the app is now worse than it was before the update. I am incredibly disappointed.

I had the original app but hadn’t used it in a while. Downloaded the latest version. It said it connected to my Lampster, but the app could not turn it off and on. Plus, the color controls and lighting levels seem just gone.While the Lampster is fun to look at, it’s not nearly as fun as it used to be. This thing had such potential. Imagine if you could have Apple, Alexa, or Google’s assistants control it.Now, it just comes off as some expensive retro art piece.

I have an original lampster that I backed on Kickstarter. I was asked to connect to the old app and as clunky as the app was at least it worked. I can no longer connect to my lamp. All functionality I previously had is gone. Fix it!
