Four classic adventurers - a fearless warrior, a fearless sorceress, a cunning thief, and an old healer -find themselves embroiled in an unexpected nightmare. During one of their usual adventures, they are suddenly kidnapped by a group of evil sorcerers and locked away in the dungeons of an ancient, decrepit castle. But these sorcerers don't just want to imprison the heroes; for their own amusement, they have devised a cruel game.
Using magical tablets carved from the wood of an ancient, enchanted tree, the sorcerers bend the protagonists' wills, forcing them to fight against each other in epic battles.
