Payments that log themselves (Pro). With Notification Log and a Shortcuts automation, a payment notification from any app becomes an entry on its own: your bank, your wallet, even a train fare. Set it up once in Settings. Needs iOS 27. Hashtags, your sub-categories (Pro). Tag entries like #Europe or #Wedding, then search the tag in History to see what a whole trip or event cost you, across every category. Search History the way you'd say it. Type "dining out last month" and Finny turns it into filters, with a summary of what it found: the total, and where it went. Questions need Apple Intelligence; on every iPhone, search still picks out your categories, payment methods and dates. Also: confirmations show the currency code, like SGD 1.68, and Membership in Settings tells you exactly where your plan stands. Plus a list of smaller fixes and polish.

Your budget, on your Home Screen. Three new widgets: Budget shows what's left and which categories ate the rest, Spending Trend draws your month day by day, and Income & Spending stacks what came in over what went out. Which category ate your budget? The new card on Budget sizes every category by what it cost you, so the biggest one jumps out. Tap it to open the full map. Open straight to History (Pro). Or Budget, or Overview. Put any tab first, and that's where Finny opens. Also: the number pad no longer covers the rows below it, Finny fills the big screen on iPhone Duo, and the Spending Calendar widget is now called This Month. Plus a list of smaller fixes and polish.

Which card is doing the damage? Your payment methods now sit in a wallet on Overview, biggest spender on top. Tap one to see everything it paid for. Merhaba. The Spending Calendar reads clearly on a dark Home Screen and picks up your theme the moment you change it. Payday Periods: paid on the 25th? Start your month there. Charts, budgets and history all follow your pay cycle instead of the calendar. Screen Log: see a payment in your banking app, an order confirmation, a receipt on screen? One press and Finny reads it and logs it. No typing, and it works with any card, including the credit cards that never send a notification. Tap to Track, rebuilt: pay with Apple Pay and the purchase logs itself. Setup is now one shortcut and one switch instead of a walkthrough, and if a payment ever doesn't make it, Finny tells you within a minute and helps you recover it straight from Wallet. Budgets can end: give a budget a last month and it closes itself out. Made for a trip, a wedding or a renovation, and every month it covered stays there to look back on. Also: recurring reminders now say what they're for, skipped payments stay skipped, backdated edits leave your history alone, plus a long list of smaller fixes and polish across the app.

Attach photos to your entries: snap a receipt or pick from your gallery. Photos stay on your device and your own iCloud, never on Finny's servers. Your month in photos: the calendar can show each day's photo right on its tile. Tap any recurring expense to see its full story: total paid so far, price changes, next renewal, and every payment. Fixed an issue where recurring entries could appear twice, plus smoother animations and lots of small polish.

Entries you log with Back Tap, Quick Log, or Tap to Track now appear the moment you open Finny. Saving, browsing the calendar, and picking a category are faster and smoother, especially with a long history. The category and payment method pickers now lead with what you use most, and you can sort by Common or Last used. Finny now speaks German and Brazilian Portuguese too, plus lots of small fixes throughout.

DELETE IN A TAP Now you can remove a transaction right from its edit screen, no swiping needed. MAKE IT YOUR OWN (PRO) Rename, change the emoji, or remove any category or payment method, and your changes sync across your devices. What’s New in Finny 1.2 Finny now makes tracking money even faster and more accurate. You can scan or upload receipts and Finny will automatically extract the merchant, amount, and date using improved AI. You can log income and expenses by voice by simply saying what you spent or earned. You can also type natural phrases like “coffee $5” or “rent $1200” and Finny will understand. Multi currency support has been expanded to over 150 currencies with live exchange rates, making it easier to track money across countries. Charts and analytics have been refined to give you a clearer view of your income, spending, and monthly trends.
