SatPathFinder
Utilities
$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
SatPathFinder is an application for visualizing satellite orbits. Several views are available for this. The most important data is listed in a table. Overflight times can be calculated for the next seven days.
There is a special option for radio amateurs to calculate sked times. This is the period of time during which a satellite can be observed from two locations at the same time. The iPhone or iPad serves as an aid for manual antenna alignment, using the internal sensors.
Keplerian elements for satellites launched since mid-July can no longer be represented in the classic TLE (Two-Line Elements) format. Celestrak now provides the data in JSON format. In contrast, Amsat continues to supply data exclusively in TLE format.
