We introduced a new set of pause strategies that allow you to have the profile to be active forever. Tap to get breaks that you decide how long and then focus on the right work rather than distractions

Messed up here, we had some bugs with timer stop buttons that would block the same profile when the strategy changed. Our bad! Plus some spelling updates

We added a new shortcut that allows you end an active session!

We now have the option for you to hide the stop button completely when you setup a profile with timers as the strategy. Simply toggle it on and you’ll be force to wait till the timer ends. We also updated onboarding and messages to help people diagnose issues!

Whats new in this update Camera scanner guidance We now clearly prompt you to enable camera access when using the scanner, so you know exactly what to do if the camera is blocked or unavailable. More reliable timers If your timers ever get wiped or blocked, we have added troubleshooting tools to quickly reset them and get you back on track without needing to reinstall or reconfigure everything. Improved light mode for Shield Shield light mode has been redesigned to use a fully dark interface, reducing glare and making it easier on your eyes, especially at night or in low light. Smarter data usage We updated our strategies to reduce data usage while keeping performance strong, so you can stay protected and productive without worrying as much about your data plan. Cleaner home screen We moved the footer into the settings view to keep your home screen cleaner and more focused on what matters most: your current status, timers, and controls. Better alerts for Screen Time access If Screen Time access is lost, you will now see a stronger, clearer callout so you can fix the issue quickly and keep protections active. Session list management You can now manage your sessions list directly in the app, including deleting old or unneeded sessions to keep everything organized and easier to navigate. Start any profile from Shortcuts You can now start any profile from Apple Shortcuts with a duration set in minutes. For example, you can: - Start a Focus profile for 25 minutes before a study session - Enable a Work profile for a 90 minute deep work block - Trigger a Break profile for 10 minutes between tasks This makes it simple to build custom routines and automations that fit the way you work and focus.

Lots of nice improvements and fixing bugs - Show users when the schedule is broken, they can press a button to fix it in the edit profile view - Clear alerts when you've selected apps over the screen time limit, trying to avoid the app is broken comments :( - Schedule picker now shows you when the schedule will run next, accounts for the 15 minutes lag

New strategies are here! Timer + NFC or Timer + QR code, basically schedule profile to only run for a certain amount of minutes. If you want to end it early, use the physical unblock.

Foqos now supports schedules that span over multiple days. For example you can now schedule a profile from 10pm to 6am. You now delete profiles from the edit sections and some minor content copy for Family activity picker

When you scan an NFC tag that has a different profile then the one thats active, it'll switch it to the profile scanned. Safari restrictions can also be disabled with a simple toggle on the profile

Emergency breaks can now reset and you can set the cadence every 2,4,6, or 8 weeks. We also added a generic Foqos is active shortcut so that you can block system apps through shortcuts if needed!

Timed breaks are now the default, with 15 minutes being the standard! Only issue is that live activities just don't update that well so we're still looking for a solution to this (might not exist). Massive refactor of breaks, it uses the device activity extension a lot more!

We fixed an issue where if you had a profile enabled before the same schedule, those won't end and it'll just continue on!

Nothing hot in this new version, we added something a bit nerdy: debug mode. When reporting issues you can copy the contents as it helps to debug problems with the app

We have a new on-boarding flow! and its not ugly as hell!

Widgets are here! You can now add a small widget to your home screen that shows your status of your profile, you can also have the widget launch the profile without opening the app!

Custom reminder messages are here thanks to axniks! You can now set a custom message for the reminder notification. This release was done on a 300kph bullet train in Tokyo haha

QR code strategy also now supports scanning barcodes! We also fixed a but with multiday sessions in the habit tracker and some minor changes

Stats for nerds got a whole new upgrade! You get way more information on your habits and patterns when using Foqos. Check it out and let me know what you think

Liquid glass is here! We updated the UI to match the new Liquid glass in iOS 26.

Urgent fix: People are experiencing issues with the hold to start button, we had to remove the animation so that you can start profiles. Sorry about that!You can now stop any profile through Shortcuts, if you think that's to easy to bypass you can block it per profile as well. Also fixed a bug where a live activity disappears when you open the app from a schedule

Little things bothered me, the app picker style looks similar to the domain list, you now refresh the app picker in case it crashes, we moved some stuff around when editing profile view for better structure, fixed the sticky glass button and updated some spelling!

We made some bad mistakes! Profiles that were deleted with schedules were never cleaned up properly, when you cloned a profile it also didn't clone the schedule. Both of those are fixed! We also check on app start up and clean up any "ghost" schedules. Sorry about that!

Schedules are finally here! Everyone has been asking for them! You can go to a profile, setup a schedule of when to start and end and it should automatically work when that time comes. Small note this might be a tad bit buggy and I'll continue to make improvements. We also added some new animations, more lava lampy and some new emergency breaks!
