Ok so I needed something that was easy and very quick. I came from the website which then later on I came to the app as it was a good tool to use AND it explained all the step by step as well as which way you can plug in your answer if there is a strict way to inserting your answer. It will let you use it freely until a certain amount of use before waiting a couple hours to use freely. I ended up paying for the subscription since I have a tone of math homework and sometimes I just want to quick pass all the mini assignments to get to the review to study ( I need to crunch time from multiple assignments).

MathGPT is an amazing helper thats awesome for explaining and clearing up concepts you aren't good at. But for the app itself, I have one problem that gets more annoying the more I use it: you are forced to crop every single image no matter how you upload a picture, and you also cannot zoom in or out after taking the picture. You either have to capture pictures from very far away or change the cropping size after capturing (with most of the screen dark grey, which is a bit annoying) manually for every single picture before uploading in order to have it scan the text you want it to scan. It would be very helpful if there is an option to disable forced cropping, because it would be much easier to tell mathGPT which part of the image to focus on rather than using a cropping tool that is difficult to use.

This app is pretty good at preparing me for my science tests and I was able to get an A in science thanks to this app, but not so much in geometry. When I asked MathGPT some geometry questions from what I was learning, it kept getting them wrong over and over. It frustrates me so much. I understand it can’t be perfect but this is with almost every geometry question I ask. It’s really annoying. Also, in the few times where it gets the problem right, the explanations are so bad and so over complicated that it’s stressing me out but when I learn elsewhere, I realized there are much simpler ways to do the problem than what MathGPT told me. It makes the most overcomplicated explanations possible. Also, MathGPT apologizes for the mistake but keeps making the same ones it’s actually so annoying. I thought MathGPT was a good study tool and could save me in geometry but I guess I was wrong. MathGPT is only good for some things but obviously not others.

I saw the ad on instagram and installed it thinking why not? Let me tell you this is the best math helper app ever. Not only can you upload your own photos you can also ask it for more practice question and videos on how to solve the problem you submitted. For real it’s better than Chat GPT. Plus it’s a lot more affordable for the quality compared to other apps/websites.
