Share your live GPS position on a secure map. You choose what is shared and for how long.
Location history and timeline
Browse past routes for your devices or family members. That history is end-to-end encrypted.
Privacy zones
Mark private areas on the map where Paralino automatically shares an approximate area instead of your exact pin (zones stay visible only to you).
Personal spaces for your own devices
Track tablets, work phones, and other gear of your own, separate from family or friend groups.
Place alerts (geofencing)
Get notified when someone arrives at or leaves places like home, school, or work.
Privacy controls
Pause sharing at any time, share for a set period, and leave out details such as speed or battery if you prefer.
Device status details
Check battery level, signal strength, permissions, and similar details when the other person allows it.
Groups and multiple devices
Create separate groups with their own sharing settings, and link several devices under one account.
Battery-efficient location updates
Updates run periodically or on request to keep battery drain down.

Paralino has a free tier and paid premium plans. Free users can join unlimited groups, or create their own group with a limited number of members and places. Need more groups or higher limits in a group you created? Upgrade to premium.
App Permissions:
- Location: Required if you want to share your location with other group members.
- Notifications: Required if you want to receive group alerts.
All permissions are optional and are not required to use the app.

Love this app! Basically Find My Friends on encrypted steroids! I am on the paid max plan, got my whole family and some friends on it. Mostly accurate most of the time. Granted trees and buildings can interfere with GPS so not a huge deal. Love the fast and responsive devs. Can't recommend it more.

TL;DR I know this review looks like astroturfing, and the app is not perfect, but nothing ever is and Paralino is absolutely worth a try. It provides good privacy and security wrapped in pretty UI/UX, which is hard to do. I am just happy to see some kind of competition in the space, and you should be too!This app is great! I’m shocked that the UI/UX is as good as it is, as most privacy focused services tend to sacrifice usability for security. Judging by the (at the time of writing, will WIP) architecture docs, this dev has managed to strike a balance without sacrificing anything (except probably their own time and mental health lol). While it is not yet open source (again, at the time of writing), that is on the roadmap which is lovely to see. Even if this one day becomes self-hostable (please!), I would still happily pay to support development of a sustainable competitor to the other big players in this space. The pricing scheme is also really smart and very reasonably priced. You can easily split the cost with a partner, or get even more value out of it by sharing with your family. Definitely worth checking it out!
