Buy a pack of 10 extra guided drives. They never expire and carry over from month to month, and Settings shows how many you have left. • Local Time Across Time Zones — Each day's start time and every arrival now follow the local time of the place you are in, so a trip that crosses a time zone keeps its plan. IMPROVED: • Every day of a long trip is now reachable in CarPlay's day list, and charger rows name the town they are in. • Opening a place on the map moves the map just enough to show it above the sheet, and keeps it in view while you drag the sheet. • Charger detours are timed with the same pace as the rest of your route and respect your vehicle's dimensions. • Places shared from the Google Maps app are found even when the link carries no position, and a share never turns into a place it doesn't mention. FIXED: • Starting guidance on a day with a great many stops used to do nothing. The day is now trimmed to what can be routed, and anything that stops guidance from starting tells you why. • A place shared into a trip now stays at the position you dropped it. • CarPlay no longer freezes after a reroute.

What's New in Version 1.23.0: NEW: • Find Places by Category — Pick a category — food, fuel, campsites, viewpoints — and Fernweh searches the part of the map you are looking at. Move the map and search again, or clear the results without touching your saved places. • Chargers on the Driving Map — Every charger ahead on your route now shows as a pin while you drive, on iPhone and in CarPlay. Its colour tells you whether a connector is free, occupied, or simply not reported. • Share a Place from Any Maps App — Sharing a place into Fernweh now works from Google Maps and other map apps, not only Apple Maps. When a link cannot be used, Fernweh tells you why instead of showing a generic error. • Skip a Stop Mid-Drive — Drive past a stop and Fernweh asks whether to keep it or skip it, then re-plans around your answer. Starting a day part-way along now drives on right away and offers the stops you passed back. • CarPlay Knows Where You Are Headed — The CarPlay capsule now names your next destination and when you will arrive, with the end-of-route arrival alongside it when there is room. Every arrival time is adjusted to the pace you actually drive. • Filter What's on the Trip Map — Hide saved places, chargers or stops on a trip's map so you only see what you're working on right now. IMPROVED: • The map's own controls sit together in one place, and a search on the map tells you how many places it found. • A control on the map brings every stop back into view after you've panned away. • Map pins are no longer grouped into clusters — every stop and saved place is shown individually. • A stop you've pinned an arrival time to now shows the slack you have, instead of a warning. • With the sheet pulled down, its title now names the screen you're on. • CarPlay's own arrival time now follows your driving pace. FIXED: • Every text field can now dismiss the keyboard — including multi-line notes and number pads. • Pins from a place search now open their details with a tap. • Charger detour times, availability freshness and distances are corrected and properly localized. • The departure stop's address now wraps onto a second line like every other row, instead of being cut off.

What's New in Version 1.22.0: NEW: • Booking Details — Keep a price, confirmation number, operator and booking link on any stop or saved place — so what you need on arrival is in the trip, not buried in your inbox. • Flexible Stays — Set a stay as a length of time or a number of nights, with one-tap presets suited to each kind of place. Lunch stops and hotel nights finally work the same way. • Daily Start Time — One daily start time now decides when every driving day begins, so the stop screen and the timeline always agree on when you leave. • Ferry Crossings — Turn a stretch of your route into a ferry crossing: note the check-in time, the sailing and when you land, and the rest of the day reflows around it. • Saved Places, Sorted — A trip's saved places are grouped by category with the biggest groups first, so you can find that restaurant without scrolling past every viewpoint. • Plan straight from a day — Add a stop or a saved place from the day you are looking at, without going back to the whole trip. • Unreachable arrivals are flagged — If a pinned arrival time cannot be made, the trip says so instead of quietly showing it as fine. FIXED: • A leg no longer draws two route lines on top of each other. • Route lines render solid again on Apple Maps. • Renaming a trip by tapping its title works again.
