Not bad, got some really good ones, they are just too short. That’s really the only problem. I’ve had well until today. I tried to do some more and it won’t upload the photos. I’ve been using for the last three or four days. And then I tried to just do text to video and explain my video with the pictures I wanted in the frames and it says it can’t. Load or something like that so I don’t know what’s wrong but I’d like to reach you guys at five yesterday. It would’ve been a five but today I pay for your website or subscription and I can’t get it to do anything.

Prompting Issues

The good news is that when it works, Pika performs very well. Unfortunately, that’s rare.As others have mentioned, the AI is programmed to block certain language as “severe policy violations.” The app doesn’t provide feedback to tell you what triggered the violation, so you have to try again and wait a minute to see if you got it right. Often prompts that worked previously will be blocked the next time you try to use them.Also, you can’t iterate to improve your video. You have a limit to how many videos you can create a day, and if it doesn’t come out the way you like, tough luck.I wouldn’t recommend the app in its present form.***UPDATE***If prompting becomes an issue, is it did with Veo, try a different model. That usually clears things up. The clips might take longer to generate, but are often better quality due to improved prompt flexibility. Was able to resolve my issue with a prompt response from the developer.

Freezing issues

The app can be temperamental when generating videos from images. Have noticed an increase in the app freezing during the generating phase. Also, some generated videos will not download once created. When this happens you lose one of your daily allotments of videos. Be sure to download anything you like, immediately, from the My Creations page as they tend to suddenly disappear. The image to video option with audio works okay, but the app takes liberties and occasionally throws in a cartoony googly eyes or a funny hat. Not good when trying to make corporate content. Other than that, I am happy with this app.
