Overall it’s a fun game, I like that there are a bunch of different heroes and artifacts that you can combine to make powerful builds. My only problem is, when you’re just starting the game, because of the large number of heroes there are available, it took me a long time to get enough shards to get a full team of common heroes. The early content was very slow to progress through because even though I had one hero that was high level, the enemy teams of 5 always beat me. My suggestion to fix this is to make it so your first 10 or 20 summons have 4 summons that are guaranteed to give you a full common hero rather than a few shards. Also, it would be nice to have a screen that shows all of the locked heroes/artifacts that I haven’t gotten any shards for yet
Surprisingly Strategic!

This game is one of those games you see in an ad for me, it kept popping up and I figured I’d give it a shot. Have not missed my daily quests yet and it’s been over 2 months. Each character has its own unique builds, and as they get higher level you can specialize them even more. My favorite mode is Adventure, because each character in the game is given synergy points to build a lineup for that mode. So it’s a whole OTHER layer of strategy besides the usual positioning and skills and gear! And the daily quests literally take all of 5 minutes. OH! And they give out free codes every week on their discord!
What Happened to Idle Horizons?
PrinceToto
I’ve been playing Idle Horizons: Dawn of Heroes since its early days, and it used to be a fun, relaxing idle RPG. The original graphics were clean, detailed enough for pixel art, and had charm. Now it looks like the developers gave the project to an AI and called it a day. The new visual style is overly colorful in a bad way. Everything looks squished together like melted Play-Doh. The characters barely resemble anything distinct now — they’re just blobs of pixels trying to look like heroes. The mechanics haven’t changed in any meaningful way. The same auto-battle system is there, but somehow it runs worse. There are constant bugs. Some menus don’t respond. Items vanish. Animations glitch. It feels more like an unfinished clone than a game that’s had time to evolve. The interface is overloaded with pointless icons and popups, but none of them actually improve the gameplay. They added what looks like an NPC coin flip feature — but why? It doesn’t contribute anything. It’s like features were added just to say “we added something” without thinking about whether they made the game better.Progression feels more grindy than ever, and now there’s no sense of reward. There’s no enjoyment in collecting heroes because they all look the same, just reskinned noise. It’s frustrating how much potential this game had and how far it’s fallen. At this point, it’s hard to recommend this to anyone. It feels like a cash grab or a forgotten project that got reskinned and repackaged by some content generator. It’s not the game it used to be, and it’s definitely not worth your time now.
Cool game

The game is the perfect balance of relaxing and engaging. It’s easy to jump into but still offers enough depth to keep me coming back. The art style is simple yet beautiful, and the sound design really sets a nice atmosphere.I love how the game progresses even when I’m not actively playing. It’s perfect for those moments when you need a quick escape. The upgrades and new areas unlock at a satisfying pace, and there’s always something to work towards.Highly recommend this game if you're looking for a laid-back, enjoyable RPG experience!
