The Body Map invites you on a journey inside you (and 8.2 billion fellow humans). Our experimental approach reveals the connections within and between biological systems, freed from the constraints of real-world anatomical positioning. For the first time you can navigate the complexity that makes us who we are.
The Body Map project is a work-in-progress. We’re striving to make the map as accurate and comprehensive as possible. If you spot anything amiss, let us know. We’ll correct it swiftly.
Circulatory system
Navigate all named veins and arteries. Tap any label to delve deeper into sources, branches, and connections with organs and other body parts. Tap the heart to re-centre the map.
Nervous system
Travel through the central and peripheral nervous systems. Explore the twelve cranial nerves and discover their interconnections and areas of innervation. Tap the electrical spark to re-centre on the brain.
Lymphatic system (premium)
Track lymph nodes and ducts. Tap the shield to re-centre on the thymus, the body’s T-cell armoury.
