I had a gotten this app a short time ago. It seemed to work and I thought I had gotten pro. Checked today no pro. When you hit restore, it takes you to a screen that says something about welcome to the family. Then you can’t exit out of that. Mind you the restore is way down low barely tappable. You have to close the app to start all over again. If you tap the heart symbol the app just crashes. This app is a mess. One star and delete.
Learn to savor beautiful art pieces while you relax and learn!

Hats off to the developer for creating an interesting, educational, and relaxing app with a sleek interface. This app does one thing really well, which is to introduce the user to classic and compelling art pieces. Details about each piece are easily accessed and they help tell the story of the artwork. Along with paintings, the art includes photography, architecture, and sculpture, with new pieces available to view in each domain every day. The app keeps a library of the items viewed so you can look through them again at your leisure. I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy looking through the content, and find it relaxing when I am waiting for an appointment or have a few minutes to kill. So much better than playing a mindless game or getting distracted by social media. I get exposed to new pieces of art history and learn things I would never come across otherwise. For me this app is a hidden gem that keeps me coming back each day to see what’s new! The only change I would like to see is the option for the text-based information to support dark mode. The white background is pretty stark for my eyes, even if I dim my screen. Aside from this, this app is a keeper.

Not a great 1st Impression..
Epictimewasting
.. Art may be subjective and open to various interpretation but principles of honesty and transparency are not. When an app registers and lists its privacy policy in the App Store as “data not collected” be sure to ALWAYS look at its actual disclosures. After navigating past an oddly and mostly unreadable onboarding process (text size was huge and unchangeable) my brow was further raised when I began reading through the *actual privacy policy. The app has a nice concept and a developing execution. Fair. The bait and switch privacy policy? Not a good look. 👀 ——Update——“By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.” Do developers use copy and paste policies from the internet? Do they mean what they say? Why would there even be categories of collection, use, retention, sharing (with mergers, partners, affiliates, service providers, etc) where your data is defined as an asset of the company? This also implies such future handling even if not in current practice..If word and principle matter to you, read the actual legal privacy policy, and test the easy claims. Honor and a good name can still be lost even if “everybody does it.”
Great Tool

Let me start at the beginning. When discovering this app, I first looked over the reviews to get a broader understanding. I looked at both the good and bad and was, at first, taken aback by some folks who seemed to pick apart bits and pieces of the app by first impression experience. At first I felt that the response from the developer was slightly defensive. I did stop myself in that thought however as I realized that I was making a preconceived assumption, because if you place yourself in another person’s position, you then are able to see a much broader picture. If I spent a lot of time on a project, shaping and perfecting something for other people, I too would feel a certain way over reviews that didn’t fairly “review” the app in it’s entirety. With that being said, I went ahead and downloaded the app. Going through this Art gallery, I was quite pleased with the layout. The app’s ability to keep all past reviewed art pieces in your own personal library is awesome too, because, going back to the art that inspired you is so essential for personal inspiration. Each piece describes what you are looking at, the idea behind it and popular perception and meaning. The best part of this app and the part that I named this review after, “Great Tool”, is located within the description of every art piece you view. This app explains in detail what you are looking at, meaning, if you are an artist who struggles to put your vision into words, this app explains so much in the best possible details. Let’s say you are starting to play with Art Creation via AI, and your prompts could use some major help in depicting your vision, by educating yourself on the beauty of existing artwork and this app’s amazing descriptions, your ability to create your own amazingly beautiful artwork is something that can be 100% achievable. Thank you to the creators of this app’s amazing descriptions, it turned out to be exactly what I needed. Much ❤️

Thank you so much for such a detailed review, we truly appreciate it. 😊 Most of the negative reviews come from trolls on a well-known social network, which explains our tone in responding.
