App usable in Zone 1:

Ever since the launch of the new app this service has gotten worse and worse.Now there are many bugs with bikes not unlocking, not locking, double charging or being charged for someone else’s ride after yours ended or never even started, etc.Newest issue is they have two physical spots per location in zurich city but never removed either, so if you park at the wrong station they don’t count as ride ended despite the station clearly being there.And best of all when everything is worse they replaced their customer support with a completely useless chatbot which tells you to wait 48 hours for every issue, during which you cannot use the app anymore.Absolute scam and shame compared to the previous publibike app. Terrible

As several users have reported this app seems to have serious trouble with billing rides. In my particular case, I parked the bike and received confirmation of such through the app. 2 days later I receive a 48CHF charge which upon checking my ride history corresponds to a 5 hour bike ride. While this has been dealt with through customer service it is frustrating that the app seems to falsely record the end of a ride and result in false charges.

This service is too expensive, specially comparing it with other similar services in Zurich. Plus a lot more cumbersome than it has to be. I can’t recommend it at all.
- Improved QR code scanner for faster and easier unlocking (zoom, better visibility, auto torch at night)
- Smoother app performance and faster map loading
- Cleaner subscription page with improved plan visibility
- Improved map controls and clearer restricted areas display (hide free-floating vehicles, updated rules and colors)
- Smarter connectivity handling (only shows warnings when needed)
- Fixed payment warning issue during registration
- Bug fixed on subscription page
