Loving having this app guide me in the right direction away from harmful chemicals. Im hoping to learn more about products to avoid. Because I live in an area of Hawaii where water is contaminated with old and new plantation chemicals I have a stainless and ceramic water distillation unit at home that runs most days and has no plastic parts in contact with the water. I add a trace mineral supplement drops to the water so I’m not loosing all my minerals. The trace mineral company is called ConcenTrace and I’m hoping it is free of PFAS. If so I should be drinking a good source of water. Can you help me find out?

It sounds like you’ve already taken incredible steps to protect yourself with a stainless/ceramic distillation unit and mineral drops. Regarding ConcenTrace trace mineral drops - our database is not showing any PFAS contamination in this product. Trace mineral supplements like these are typically derived from natural inland mineral deposits or seawater and are not expected to contain PFAS. That said, PFAS contamination can sometimes occur through processing, water sources, or packaging. For additional peace of mind, you can: - contact the company directly to request third-party lab testing results for PFAS- check if they publish Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for contaminants- keep scanning with ChemZero - we’re continuously updating our database with new products and research.Thank you again for trusting ChemZero on your health journey.
Needs more features and a consumer driver data base

The concept is great! I can see everyone pulling it out to check products in almost any store. The drawback is every product I scanned on my first day didn’t have a result. There was no way to submit the details for review to have it added later. There is minimal community elements or profile details which make it feel a bit isolating. Some similar apps have the option to scan, and recommend alternatives. I think these guys are on the right path but need some consulting to build in a few more consumer features to entice someone to pay monthly or annually for the service.

I was trying to cut out seed oils, processed foods from my diet, and microplastics. This is what I was looking for. Sometimes I’m not getting results hopefully you can fix it. Otherwise I’m happy with this app.
