Record your voice once, and Dreambook uses it to narrate the stories your child creates. Travelling, working late, or just in the other room — the ritual continues. Prefer not to record? A selection of in-app narrators is ready to go from day one.

Every word highlights the moment it's spoken. A child who can't read yet
starts connecting the sound to the shape, hundreds of times a night,
without a single flashcard. It's how pre-readers become readers. And in
Dreambook, those words are lit up by the voice they know best.
With verified parental consent, your child can also record their own voice and become the narrator of their own adventures.
CHARACTERS THEY BUILD THEMSELVES
Most storytelling apps hand children a cast. Dreambook lets them create one. Kids design custom characters and follow them across every story they make, with a journal that records each character's adventures. That ownership is what turns a listener into a storyteller.

BUILT ON RESEARCH, NOT ASSUMPTIONS
Over 1,600 North American parents shaped Dreambook through two rounds of survey research. They pointed to a gap: children's storytelling apps rarely let kids create anything of their own. That gap is what Dreambook was built to close.
SAFETY IS THE ARCHITECTURE, NOT A FEATURE
- No ads. No behavioural profiling. No cross-app tracking.
- No third-party analytics — not Firebase, not Google Analytics, not anything.
- Parental gates protect every sensitive action.
- Voice recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest, are never used to train AI, and are never used commercially.
- Recording a child's voice requires verified parental consent through Kids Web Services by Epic Games, certified by two FTC-approved COPPA Safe Harbor programs.
- Parents can delete any recording, story, or the entire account at any time.

Stories built for early elementary readers — long enough to hold attention, rich enough to grow vocabulary, gentle enough for bedtime. Profiles adapt for younger and older siblings in the same household.
