Stay Accountable, Stay Strong*
Unchaind keeps you on track with daily check-ins and progress tracking, helping you break free from lust and unhealthy habits to build a stronger relationship with God. Stay motivated as you hit key milestones and celebrate victories along the way.
Personal AI Companion for Support*
Temptation doesn’t follow a schedule – and neither does Unchaind. Your AI bible chat companion is available 24/7 to provide guidance, encouragement, and biblical wisdom whenever you need it. Whether you’re struggling with a tough moment or seeking inspiration, Unchaind is here for you.
Christian Strategies to Overcome Lust*
Unchaind equips you with scripture-backed guidance and personalized encouragement to help you overcome lust. From curated daily prayers to relevant Bible verses, you’ll find strength in God’s word every day.
Block What Tempts You, with Screen Time*
With your permission, Unchaind uses Apple's Screen Time technology on your own iPhone. It turns on the web content filter built into iOS and, with Unchaind Max, blocks the websites and apps you choose, all day or on your own schedule. You approve access with Face ID or your passcode. The apps and websites you choose stay on your device and are never shared. You can turn blocking off at any time.
Widget and Audio Prayers*
Add the Unchaind widget to your Home Screen to see your progress at a glance. Prayers can be read aloud and keep playing when your screen is locked.
Share Your Progress*
Share an image of your progress with the people who support you, only when you choose to. Unchaind uses the iOS share sheet and can offer to share right after you take a screenshot. You can send the image to Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram Stories or TikTok, or save it to your Photos. It shows only your number of days and a link to Unchaind, never any Screen Time data.

- Built-in accountability system to keep you on track
- Daily check-ins for reflection and progress tracking
- Personal AI chat companion for guidance anytime

*Currently unable to use the app as I cannot click away from the Home Screen, so I’ll be removing a star until fixed. This app is targeted towards sexual lust; however, it might be worthwhile to expand target audience to addictions (drugs, drinking, unhealthy habits, etc.)The community within the help is great and you will see folks supporting one another when they’re struggling, and the Bible resources are nice too. It would be cool if Unchaind could do something like Hallow where there are additional biblical resources (videos, rosary prayers, music, etc)
I’m upset
Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got really excited going into this hoping I could get away from problems I’m facing. Just to find out you need to pay to get closer to god. It’s a joke true faith is priceless and if you need a subscription to get away from sin it’s fake and a joke. This is an app dedicated to keeping you from sin but has one of the deadliest sins of all. Greed. Don’t fall for it, it’s a money trap promising false realities. It may have helped many other people but with a price and that’s wrong. It should not cost money to build a stronger relationship with god. This app is a joke and I do not recommend. COMMENT: just went through and read a bunch of other reviews and they have copy and pasted responses to everyone with the same issue as me. This app is NOT holy in the slightest it’s a scam banking on people who feel hopeless in their sin.
it costing money is odd.
Wayluhn
why does this cost money? i’m not trying to be like that but many people who can’t pay for this are dealing with lust. u guys said it urself that you weren’t suspose to overcome and deal with lust alone, but when you can’t pay for it that’s another story? and that if you “Want a stronger relationship with god” then you should pay for the unchained thingy. who says i can’t get a stronger relationship with god because i don’t got the unchained subscription? the bible is free, why can’t this be? i know u obviously need to make money but i feel as if ur trying to get money out of it instead of actually wanting people to stop their lust addictions. i’m not trying to be that type of person but this is js odd.
Developer Response
Thank you for being honest with us, and you're right that nobody should have to fight lust alone. A stronger relationship with God absolutely doesn't depend on Unchaind or any app, the Bible, prayer, and community are always there freely. We're a small team pouring everything into building tools (accountability, check-ins, the milestone calendar) that actually help people break free, and the subscription is what keeps the lights on and the app improving. It's never about gatekeeping freedom from lust, just about keeping this work sustainable. We hear the frustration and we're grateful you cared enough to say something. The Unchaind Team
Unreasonably difficult to cancel
Davida2016
I wanted to cancel the subscription, I found that I didn’t have enough money to pay for it long term. However when I tried to cancel the only path at the time was through customer service email. I emailed them several times and got no response, I found another email address and sent several to them as well with no response. I wasn’t until a month later that I found a way to cancel through the most inconvenient way possible. After two months of trying to cancel, I managed to do it, but still have not heard from customer service! This is unreasonable horrible customer service and I do not recommend spending money on a company that won’t take care of their customers.
Developer Response
Hi Davida,We owe you a real apology. You reached out multiple times asking for help with cancellation, and we didn't respond. That's on us, and it's not how we want to treat anyone. You're right that the cancellation process should be straightforward from the start, and it shouldn't take a month of trying to figure it out. We hear you, and we're genuinely sorry for the frustration and time you spent trying to get this resolved. We've read your message, and we want to do better. If there's anything we can do to make this right, please reach out to us at unchaind@rocapine.com.All the best,The Unchaind Team
