Calculate tips, scan receipts, save dining history, unlock Pro tools, and customize tip presets. Scan Tip helps you quickly calculate restaurant tips and totals. Enter a bill amount, choose a preset tip, adjust a custom percentage or dollar amount, and see the final total instantly. The app can save dining history, sync SwiftData history and presets with iCloud, summarize recent totals, and detect possible duplicate visits. Receipt scanning uses the device camera to read receipt totals and warn when service charges or included gratuity may already be present. On supported iOS versions, Apple Intelligence can refine receipt details on device. Scan Tip also supports Scan Tip Pro, an auto-renewable subscription for unlimited saved history, Smart Check insights, custom tip presets, history charts, and history export/share. Private iCloud sync is available independently of Pro when iCloud is available. Users can manage built-in and custom preset visibility, restore purchases, change appearance themes, replay onboarding, delete local data, and use App Shortcuts for common calculator actions. Version 1.3.1 adds a spending breakdown for bill and tip totals, plus a clearer view of tip dollars by percentage range. Profiles now support a one-time onboarding name, optional Sign in with Apple, and a user-selected avatar. Developer Apps and Bug Report links also make support easier to find.
