On Apple Intelligence devices, your insights are built from your handicap, averages, and trends, so they tell you how you're actually doing (not just list numbers), with a coach-style summary plus clear at-a-glance cards. Available for your overall game, each round, and each course. - Player Profile: A radar view of your game's "DNA": scoring, greens, putting, scrambling, and recovery in one shape. - Playing Calendar: Your whole season at a glance, with every round shaded by how you scored. - Scoring Breakdown: A clean donut of your birdies, pars, bogeys, and beyond. - Round Flow: See exactly how each round unfolded, hole by hole. We're super happy to bring you an update! Here's everything we did: * Metric support (as requested by Tobias K). Distances now display in yards or metres throughout the app. Set your preference in Settings → Units, or override per scorecard. * Added more statistics: Front 9 vs. Back 9, per-course roll-up stats, personal records dashboard, per-scorecard hole-by-hole heat map. * More accurate stats. Fixed issues where per-hole averages and best/worst nine-hole stretches could be skewed by unplayed holes. * Better Blow-Up Holes detection. Previously too many rounds qualified as blow-ups; the detection now correctly identifies genuine runs of bad holes. * Handicap precision. Round differentials are now rounded per WHS spec, preventing small drift in your handicap index. * Smarter course location search. More accurate results using Apple Maps' golf-course filter, with proper progress and error feedback. * Various performance improvements to the Statistics screens. * And of course, a variety of smaller bug fixes here and there.

Version 2 is the first version with Apple Intelligence (for supported devices). Golf Score Stats now has AI-generated insights under statistics, courses, and rounds, provided your device is capable of running the Apple Intelligence models natively.

This version brings a couple of very nice changes - you can now export and share the scorecard from any round as a PDF document! The "export data" option under Settings has also been updated to use the default sharing options in iOS rather than only using email, which makes it easier to backup your data wherever you want.

This version brings a number of "quality of life" improvements, especially for people tracking a lot of rounds. 1. Made changes to the statistics manager to improve performance when there are hundreds of rounds. Stats are calculated on the initial load of that view, but then cached for better performance after that. 2. Improved labeling on the charts so that data labels don’t overlap each other, and changed the trend lines to be smoothed instead of linear. The smoothed trend lines are much better at showing trends over long periods of time. 3. Made the splash screen a little nicer, just because the old one was very plain. 4. Changed the up/down buttons used when entering scores to be floating buttons; they still work the same, but it frees up a little bit more real estate on the screen. 5. And because we never have enough stats, added new statistic views for the top 20 best and bottom 20 worst holes that you’ve played. You can set the minimum number of times a hole must be played to be included in these stats.

Just a couple of bug fixes in this version. Remember, if you want to provide feedback, go to our website (shown in the app listing) and submit your comments! Minor update to add in your personal handicapped course rating (and description of how hard the course should be for you, given your handicap) when you are entering or editing scores.

We added the ability to load and delete sample data in the settings tab so that you can see the type of statistics generated from a lot of rounds. It's a nice way to evaluate the app to see if it will provide stats that are meaningful for you. Statistics have been further enhanced by adding “greens in regulation” to the streaks section. We added a "Most recent" designation to the “blow up holes" statistic so you can see the latest round added to this view. The course view received the addition of a difficulty description for both slope and course rating, and we added the course bogey rating (with description) to the scorecard.

Version 1.7 brings some new statistics (surprise, surprise!) and some minor quality-of-life improvements. The statistics view will now refresh when it is pulled down (useful immediately after playing a round). There is also a "Show average hole score" in settings, when turned on the app will display your average score from previous rounds for each hole while you are entering scores for a new round. The statistics view gained a brand-new stat - "Top blow-ups". For "blow ups", Golf Score Stats identifies the hole (or stretch of holes) that had the largest overall negative impact on a given round. It gives you some great insights into what you need to clean up to start shooting lower scores.

Enhancements Changed course location search to use Apple Maps. This seems to work a little better than the previous location provider. Also added links so that you can see the rounds where all of your “resilience” statistics happened. Bug Fixes This wasn't good. Found and fixed a bug (introduced in v1.5) that occurred when saving settings. This bug resulted in (among other things) handicap information not showing up and the “Performance by Hole Length” view crashing for new installs. Also fixed a minor bug with the date filter in the statistics view where the end date was always off by 1 day.

Version 1.3 brings new statistics for “Recovery Rate”, “Choke Rate”, and “Birdie Conversion”, and adds in streak tracking. Two minor fixes are also included: Made the location search on golf course name a little smarter, and made the formatting in the statistics view more consistent.
