New: Exposure Planner. No light to meter yet? Tap the sun in the top corner of the Light Meter, slide through scenes from snow in full sun to moonlight, and the aperture, shutter and ISO columns show what your film and lenses can do before you pack them. Save the plan to a frame if you like.

• Save where you shot. Switch on Save Location on a frame to keep its GPS spot. It stays on for the following frames until you change it, shows as a pin on the roll, opens in your maps app, and goes into the CSV export. • Open on Launch. Use Rollio mostly to meter? In Settings, set Open on Launch to Light Meter and the app starts there. Films stays the default. • iPhone Duo support. Rollio now fits the Duo's wider screen and side toolbar rail, with every form and sheet laid out to stay clear of the edges. • Also includes bug fixes and stability improvements.

Rollio 2.2 brings two of the most requested features: backups and exports. • Back up and restore Save every roll, frame and photo to a single file in iCloud Drive or anywhere you like, and bring your whole library back on a new iPhone. Find it in the new Settings tab. • Export a roll Turn any film into a print-ready PDF contact sheet with frame numbers, exposure details and your notes, or a CSV spreadsheet for Numbers or Excel. You can now view when each frame was added, and if you made a mistake, you can delete the last frame of a roll.

• You can now set Aperture and Shutter Speed to Auto (green tick at the end of each scale). • When adding a new frame, Aperture and Shutter Speed are now copied from the previous frame to save you time. • Deleting a film now shows a confirmation dialog so you don’t remove anything by accident.
