Radar: Rideshare Hotspots
High-Demand Hotspots & Events
Free · In‑App Purchases
New: crowd alerts warn you 45–90 minutes before a big crowd near you lets out. Live in 8 US metros. Free for 5 days, no card needed.
Radar tells you where to drive next. It tracks thousands of events around you, like concerts, shows, nightlife, conferences and festivals, and points you to the spot where people will soon need a ride.
Open the app and you see your top pick nearby: how far it is, the best time to be there, and other busy areas as backups. Tap Details to see what's on there and when it ends, or tap Navigate and Radar opens directions in your maps app.
NEW: CROWD ALERTS
When 10 or more events near you are about to end, Radar can alert you 45 to 90 minutes ahead, so you have time to get there. You get at most one alert a day, for the biggest crowd near you, and never between 1 and 8 AM.
HOW DRIVERS USE RADAR
• Between trips: find a busy spot a short drive away instead of waiting in a dead zone.
• Before a shift: see which areas get busy tonight and when events let out.
• On a slow night: open the map to see every active spot around you.
• Set a reminder and Radar notifies you before a spot starts to peak.
WHY EVENTS
When a show or conference ends, hundreds of people need a ride at the same time. Radar groups events that end around the same time into spots and ranks them by how much is happening and when, so you get there before the rush.
