iCertifi Cloud Pro: Sync
Electrical certs, every device
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad
Photograph the board — iCertifi Cloud Pro reads every circuit and fills the schedule for you. EICR, EIC and Minor Works certificates to BS 7671, on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Start a certificate on your iPhone, continue on your iPad, finish on your Mac. Everything is backed up to the cloud with end-to-end encryption, so your work survives a lost, stolen or replaced device.
BOARD VISION — POINT, SHOOT, DONE
Take one photo of the distribution board. Board Vision detects the devices, circuit order and layout, and fills your circuit schedule in about 30 seconds. What used to be 20 to 45 minutes of typing out MCBs, ratings and labels is now a photo you check and confirm.
TEST VISION — READINGS STRAIGHT OFF THE TESTER
Photograph your test instrument's display and the readings are extracted and matched to the right circuit automatically. Any make, any model. No cables, no Bluetooth pairing, no transcription errors.
SPARK AI — YOUR 24/7 TECHNICAL HELPLINE
Instant answers on BS 7671, EICRs, testing procedure and observation coding, without leaving the certificate you are working on.
COMPLIANCE CHECK
Every certificate is checked automatically before you issue it, so mistakes are caught while you are still on site — not by the client, the assessor or your QS.
WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
Certify with no signal, no laptop and no desktop software. Data uploads automatically the moment you reconnect. Built exclusively for Apple devices.

more FINDINGS FROM THE INSPECTION PAGES
• Review Findings now opens with every finding ticked. Untick any you don't want, then tap Add Observations at the bottom.
• Fixed: on an iPad the Add button could be missing, so ticked findings never reached the report.
OBSERVATIONS
• After you add or edit an observation on an EICR, the app suggests the schedule item it belongs to, so you can mark it with one tap.
• A failing circuit or board check from the AI check can now be added as observations.
• Spark's Add as Observation offers the code from its answer.
IPAD
• Held upright, the checklist tucks away on the Observations and Distribution Boards pages so the list and its details have room. Tap the sidebar button at the top to bring it back.
BOARD VISION
• Reads the main switch and its rating, and reports surge protection wherever it sits on the board.

Optimised for iPhone Duo
Mac and iPhone Duo and iPad preview certificate in saved certs
Circuit Designer improvements for volt drop, correction factors and cable ratings. It designs single core cable, handles 4 core cable and three phase circuits at 400 V, and uses the correct armour figures for SWA cable.
On iPad, Mac and the open iPhone Duo, lists now open beside what you choose, including the QS dashboard beside its reviews. Circuits have a new List or Grid switch.
On the Mac: menu bar commands and keyboard shortcuts, Print and Save as PDF, two windows, drag and drop, and a wider checklist sidebar.
Teams: A linked member no longer sees "Not sharing with anyone", and a lapsed owner's team now closes correctly.
Fixes: the keyboard no longer covers the box you are typing in, section notes are no longer cut off on the Mac, screen mirroring keeps showing the iPad, and Restore Purchase shows a single message.
3.3.6 3d ago
TEAMS
• Each engineer's own details on certificates: on a Team plan, a member's position and test instrument come from their own settings, never the business owner's. Members can now set their position in Contractor Details.
• Your company logo now prints on certificates from every device and every team member, not only the device it was added on.
• Earthing and Bonding and 3 Circuit Minor Works certificates keep the name and position of the engineer who made them, whoever prints them.
• Remote QS signature requests show the name of the engineer asking.
• QS screens and the progress tracking page show your trading name.
• Fixed a problem that could stop a Team owner's device uploading to iCloud. The app now repairs it automatically and nothing is removed.
• The Team card on the Home screen now runs the full width of an iPad.
COMPLIANCE CHECK AND CIRCUIT DESIGNER
• Compliance Check no longer warns that client and address details are missing when they are filled in, and now uses the supply details recorded on each certificate.
• Circuit Designer now starts from the certificate's own supply: earthing system, Ze and fault current.

What's new
Diary
Book your visits in Cloud Pro. Choose a client from Client Hub, set the day and time, and send your customer a confirmation email in one tap. They can accept, decline or ask for another time, and you get a notification when they answer. On the day, call them or get directions from the visit, then tap Start certificate and the client and the address of the visit fill in for you. You can also book from a client in Client Hub or from Retests due. Visits can go in your phone's calendar too, and they stay in step on every device signed in to your iCloud.
New Office role for Teams
Office replaces Viewer. Office staff can see every certificate, make and send the PDF, mark it as sent and send it to Mint Books.
Change the engineer's name
On Team and Enterprise plans, anyone in the firm can now correct the engineer's name, including on a duplicated certificate.
CSV export, rebuilt
Share, then CSV, now gives you the whole certificate in one clear table: every field, every board and every circuit, with the same field names every time. It opens straight into Excel or Numbers.
Board Vision reads more
Board Vision now handles more kinds of board, including boards with two main switches and boards with an RCD at the end in place of a main switch. When something needs a second look, the review screen tells you what to check.
3.3.4 Oct 17
What's new
• Automatic customer reminders (Team plans): the business admin can switch on a reminder email for each certificate, sent to the customer before the next inspection is due. Set it up in Settings › Customer reminders.
Fixes
• Your music or podcast no longer pauses when you change page or open a drop-down list.
• Fixed a crash when signing after the EV Specification Sheet page.
• The Team card on the home screen now updates straight away when your plan or role changes.
3.3.3 Oct 14
What's New in 3.3.2
NEW
• Team card on the Home screen (Team 5 and Team 10): see your team at a glance, with certificates waiting for your QS sign off and work assigned to you, each one tap away
• Settings rebuilt into clear sections, with a search box to find any setting fast
• Zombie Mode for October: a stormy night, fog, bats and lightning on the Home screen. Turn it on or off in Settings
• Contact Support now fills in your app, device and version for you, by email form or WhatsApp, on iPhone and iPad
• The Circuit page shows you where the Assistant is until you have used it
IMPROVEMENTS
• iPhone held sideways: the boards list, board page, observations and observation details now use the full width of the screen
• Board Vision always opens full screen and upright on iPhone
• Circuit Designer keeps the box you are typing in above the keyboard
• Done on the Circuit page keeps your place when your iPhone is sideways
• A new certificate opened on its last page can go straight to the PDF preview
• Duplicated and converted certificates now get their own next inspection due date
• Buying tokens before the prices have loaded now waits and opens the purchase, and tells you if the App Store cannot be reached
• Sounds no longer slow the app down
CERTIFICATES
• Circuit Designer: fuse 5 second Zs limits and 3 core twin and earth ratings checked against BS 7671:2018+A4:2026
• Minor Works, 3 Circuit Minor Works and Domestic EIC: a name left blank or N/A now uses the name in Contractor Details
• Minor Works page 1 prints the BS 7671 amendment in full, inside its sentence
• EICR page 1: the Section D declaration and amendment are printed as one clear line
• Electrical Danger Notice no longer prints "(null)"
• Spelling and wording corrections on several printed certificates
FIXES
• Fixed a crash on the Lux reference page
• Next on a certificate's last page opens the PDF preview once, even if tapped twice
• On iPad held sideways, Observations stays in one easy to read column
3.3.2 Oct 12
Auto EICR observations
- Items you code C1, C2, C3 or FI on the inspection pages, and failing circuit readings, reach the Observations page again. Review them and add them in one go.
- "Fill from a finding" on the observation screen fills the observation from any of those items.
- The Vault now opens on its own screen with a search box, and its wording no longer shows stray characters.
Spark AI: more accurate answers, on more screens
- Spark AI's BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 library has been rebuilt so it reads each table in full, and it now uses a stronger AI. Maximum Zs values, cable ratings, rating factors and disconnection times now come back correct.
- Spark AI is now on the circuit and board screens, and the observation screen opens the full chat for that observation.
- Each certificate keeps its own Spark AI conversation.
- "Add as Observation" now gives the new observation its item number.

What's new
Import PDF: turn a certificate made in another app into a Cloud Pro certificate. Tap the cog button in Saved Certificates. Your first 10 imports are free.
Auto DB schematics: an optional page showing how your boards are fed. Turn it on in Settings, or for one certificate from the cog menu.
Search circuits on every board, and add submains from the board list.
Certificate for this repair: start a Minor Works, EIC or Domestic EIC straight from an EICR observation.
Landscape schedule: now looks like the printed schedule, and Max Zs updates when you change the breaker.
Schedule photo scanner is faster and more accurate.
Fixes
Observation card on iPad is readable in dark mode.
Export ZIP is back at the top of Saved Certificates, in the cog menu.
3.3 Sep 28
• Convert keeps your readings: converting a certificate, for example a Domestic EIC to an EICR, now brings across every test result (R1+R2, Zs, insulation, RCD times and more), so there is nothing to type in again.
• EICR item 5.17: the tick box on the heading has gone. Record your outcomes against the four points below it, as on the BS 7671 model form.
• EICR schedule: any box you never filled in now prints N/A, just as the form shows it.
• Before you share: if a certificate has pages you have not opened yet, iCertifi now tells you which ones and lets you open them before sending.
• iPad circuit grid: tapping "Test results" now takes you straight to the readings, and the switch follows you as you scroll.
• Saved signatures: tapping "saved signature" when none is saved on this device no longer clears a signature that is already there. This covers every certificate, including the QS signature button. You will see a message telling you how to save one.
• Client details: addresses saved in older versions no longer fill in the word "(null)".
• General fixes and improvements.
3.2.7 Sep 25
New: Progress Sharing. Turn it on for a certificate and your client gets their own private page showing how the job is going, from booked in through to the certificate being issued. You choose which certificates to share, one at a time, and you can switch it off whenever you like.
New: Apple Wallet card. Your client can add a card to Apple Wallet that keeps itself up to date as the work moves on, carrying your firm name, your contact details and the job reference.
Send Link to Client now opens a ready made email with your logo, your firm details, a Follow the progress button and an Add to Apple Wallet badge. Certificate emails carry the same link and card while sharing is on.
Progress Sharing and the Wallet card come with Enterprise and Team subscriptions.
Circuit test results now keep the same layout on every circuit, so the Zs and RCD boxes no longer swap sides between circuits.
Scanning a circuit schedule now waits for large sheets to finish instead of blaming your internet connection.
Also in this update: deleting one copy of a certificate no longer switches off a progress link your client is still using.
3.2.6 Sep 22
Fixes
- Fix for users who could not reach observations if the went beyond bounds of screen in EICR observations
- Fix for a potential crash on changing EICR cert reference
3.2.5 Sep 17
NEW KEYBOARD BAR
• Done now always stays on screen above the keyboard, ready for iOS 27.
• Clear and N/A sit together in one bar, with the field arrows in their own bubble when there is room.
• Tap ••• for Lim and more quick fills: Ω, MΩ, mA, ms, >200, PASS, FAIL, C1 to C3, FI, MCB, RCBO, RCD, AFDD, SPD, T&E, SWA and more.
iCLOUD STORAGE FULL
• If your iCloud storage fills up, iCertifi now tells you straight away that your certificates have stopped reaching iCloud and your other devices.
• Sending a team invite when your iCloud is full now says so in plain English.
• A sync repair now checks first for certificates that have not reached iCloud yet. It will not remove them while your iCloud is full, and otherwise tells you how many there are before you choose.
• Disaster Recovery snapshots stay on your device and no longer take up space in your iCloud backups.
FIND CERTIFICATES FROM iPHONE SEARCH
• Type a client, address, postcode or reference into iPhone Search to find and open a certificate.
• Available to subscribers and team members.
EIC SIGNATURES
• Each EIC now remembers whether it uses the single signature declaration or the three separate declarations.
• The declaration you do not use prints Not applicable instead of empty boxes. Anything you have already filled in still prints.
• Settings and the declaration page now explain the choice.
SHORTCUTS APP
• New Certificate, Open Certificate, Search Certificates and Retests Due are now actions in the Shortcuts app.
ALSO IN THIS VERSION
• Ready for iOS 27.
• Tips now show on a light yellow card that is easier to see.
3.2.4 Sep 16
What's New in Version 3.2.2
*Important fixes for Teams and slow loading saved certs*
Also in this version
TEAMS
• The business owner is a Qualifying Supervisor in a Team firm and can review and sign from the QS Dashboard.
• Team members stay signed in for 24 hours without signal, and are re-checked every 20 minutes when online.
• Ending sharing, removing your last team member, or a lapsed subscription now keeps every certificate safe in iCloud.
• Business Collaboration offers to free seats left by people who have gone, and explains why the Admin role stays with the owner.
• If you are the only QS in your firm, the app tells you before you submit that nobody else can approve your certificate.
iCLOUD AND DISASTER RECOVERY
• Snapshots are kept in three pools. Protected copies taken before anything risky can never be pushed out by everyday use, and you can Keep any snapshot yourself.
• Restore and re-upload puts your certificates back and sends them to iCloud again if iCloud has lost them.
• If sync on a device cannot recover on its own, the Sync Problem message now offers Reload from iCloud, which refreshes that device from iCloud without touching your data anywhere else.
CIRCUIT PAGE
• Quick Fill bar for one-tap ring, radial, lights, cooker and spare circuits.
• The details switch fits the phone screen and lines up with the circuit number on iPad.
• The schedule grid opens only when you rotate the device, not when an iPad window is resized.
3.2.3 Sep 10
SAVED CERTIFICATES, REBUILT
• Every row now shows the client, the property address, the certificate type, whether it's a draft, issued or sent, and when the retest is due
• Filter pills: All, Drafts, Issued, Overdue retests, Pinned. Sort by last edited, date created, client, reference, type or retest due. Your choice is remembered
• Search finds anything: client name, address, postcode, reference, board or circuit
• Swipe a certificate for PDF, Duplicate, Convert or Delete. Swipe the other way to Pin it, Mark it sent, or open the client in Client Hub
• Touch and hold a certificate to preview the issued PDF without opening it
• Select several at once to export them as one ZIP, mark them sent, or add the client to Client Hub
RETESTS DUE
• A new screen lists every overdue and upcoming periodic inspection, grouped by client, for the next 30, 60 or 90 days
• One tap sends a ready-written email or text reminder to the client — the certificate remembers it was sent
• The Home screen shows how many retests are overdue or due soon
Fixes and improvments
3.2.1 Sep 8
iCertifi Cloud Pro 3.2
NEW CERTIFICATE PICKER
• New Certificate now opens a searchable list grouped by the kind of work — Installation & Alteration, Inspection & Reporting, Safety, Risk & Isolation, Renewables & Specialist — with every group open. Search by name or by the job: "landlord", "solar", "isolation"
• A Recent strip on the Home screen gives one-tap shortcuts to the certificate types you wrote last
• The same picker opens from a client's page in the Client Hub
THE CIRCUIT PAGE, REBUILT
• Two halves — Circuit details | Test results — with a header showing the way, designation and device, and the page opens on the half you used last
• Type of wiring, reference method and points served now sit on one row instead of three full-width boxes
• One Assistant menu at the top right for Quick Complete (Ring, Radial, Lights, Cooker, Spare, your saved template and More…), Copy / Paste circuit, Save as template, Mark circuit complete, Live Data Sync, Scan Test Instrument and AI Circuit Check
• Test Logic now speaks on the page: an out-of-range reading turns red or amber with a short explanation and Ignore / Check & Retest / Time Delayed buttons right underneath — no more pop-up alerts
• Boards and circuits always open full screen on iPad. The old "Full Page Test Results" setting is gone
SCHEDULE OF TEST RESULTS GRID
• Turn your iPhone or iPad sideways on a circuit page or the board page and the whole board opens as a spreadsheet: one row per circuit, every column the schedule prints, the same pick-lists as the circuit page, and N/A · Lim · Clear on the keyboard bar
• Return moves down the column and skips spare ways; the No. and designation columns stay put while you scroll sideways; L1 / L2 / L3 rows are tinted; out-of-range readings are coloured by the same rules as the page
• Turn back and the circuit page shows what you typed. On iPad, Detailed View on the board page opens the same grid
• Add circuits with one tap from the + menu: one, a 3-phase group, several at once, a spare, a submain, a template, Board Vision, Design Circuit or Pre-filled circuits
TEAMS AND QS
• QS: a "Forgot PIN?" route, so a forgotten QS PIN can no longer lock the QS out
• A QS review that fails to save no longer throws away every other unsaved edit in the sess
3.1.2 Sep 2
Fixes an issue affecting team accounts.
3.1.1 Aug 25
• Fixed: some certificates printed could produce an incorrect "Originally issued under BS 7671:2018+A2:2022" line across the bottom of the page, overlapping the standard footer text. Certificates created before the Amendment 4 update, or duplicated from one, were affected. Your test results and the declaration were always correct — the error was in this one printed line only.
3.1 Aug 15
What's New in iCertifi Cloud Pro 3.0
BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 (AMENDMENT 4)
Every certificate updated to the new edition 2026:
• EICR: new flowing Schedule of Inspections, two-table observations, dual signatures ("Inspected and tested by" + "Report authorised for issue by"), SPD operational status and prosumer (Chapter 82) coverage
• EIC, Domestic EIC, Minor Works, EV, Solar PV and all other certificate types: A4:2026 wording, PNB earthing options and updated regulation citations throughout
• Your existing certificates are safe — reports issued under earlier amendments reprint in their original as-issued layout
• Circuit Designer: new buried-cable installation methods D1/D2 and aluminium SWA tables
• Spark AI now answers from the full A4:2026 regulations
NEW — CLIENT HUB
Your client book, built in. Two tabs: "What's due" shows every overdue and due-soon retest across your certificates, with reminders and one-tap add-to-calendar; "Clients" holds contact details and certificate history, with a new certificate started straight from the client. Shared with your other iCertifi apps, with a full split-screen layout on iPad.
NEW — OBSERVATION PHOTOS, REBUILT
Up to 3 captioned photos per observation, synced through iCloud to all your devices (and your team) and printed on a new photographic appendix page of the EICR. Photos taken in earlier versions migrate automatically on first launch.
NEW — ISSUED-CERTIFICATE ARCHIVE
Certificates you export are frozen as issued: reopening one shows the exact PDF you gave the customer, with a controlled "Revise" flow when changes are genuinely needed (Settings → Archive Issued Certificates).
NEW — BOARD VISION: THREE-PHASE
Scan TP&N distribution boards as well as single-phase: phases L1/L2/L3, SPDs, fuses and spare ways all recognised, with a full review screen so you approve every circuit before anything is imported.
NEW — FASTER DATA ENTRY
Certificate forms rebuilt as grouped cards with completion ticks, paired field grids and an iPad checklist sidebar. Quick Fill now offers a categorised circuit library. Use Verifi? Your test instruments now fill the instrument fields automatically.
ALSO IMPROVED
• Contacts and GPS address look-up on more forms
• Mint Books: better linking screen, sync status banners and automatic certificate numbers
• Clearer subscription messages — plan switches and restores now tell you exactly what happened
• Fixes: EICR limitations and sampling entries, circuit ordering, contractor name display, iPad share-sheet crash, sync stall recovery, and more
IMPORTANT — UPDATE ALL YOUR DEVICES
This version upgrades the certificate database. Data written by the new version (including iCloud-synced data and backups) cannot be opened by older versions of iCertifi Cloud Pro. Please update every device you use with the same iCloud account — and, for Teams, every member's device — before continuing work.
