I’ve been playing this game for a long time and really like it. I got my husband hooked on it too. After playing for a year or so I quit playing it for a long time because I it gets tedious having to start at zero every time you advance to another level. After watching all those ads to triple my coins, only to have them taken away when I pass the level is frustrating. You only get 15 tries a day unless you pay. Why should I have to pay to play your game? Charge for other things like up grades but not for us just to play your game. There are people who can’t afford to pay , so they only get to have 15 turns a day. It takes many tries and a lot of sling shot and sled upgrades to get anywhere. The steering of the sled does not work very well. It’s not very sensitive so it makes you crash and use one of your 15 tries for the day. It takes forever to upgrade enough times that you’re able to get to the end and pass the level only to have to start all over again and lose all your progress at the next level. It makes no sense and I assume causes a lot of people to delete the game. If developers were to fix these few things this game would be awesome. On a positive note, even though there are ads every 3 runs at least you can click out of them really quick. If you choose to watch an ad to triple your coins, they are a little longer. But overall the ads are not long or too many. One more thing. The original penguin is the cutest character. The others are really weird. It would be good if you had more cute little animal characters but that’s not a huge deal breaker.

Ok, the game is really fun!! Now don’t take this as me bashing the app because I’m not. You’re going to need to buy double rocket use. Then most likely buy add free but you’re still going to need to watch adds if you want to play for a while and to upgrade quickly. I say fine but if you pay for add free then at least make adds shorter or option for buyers to skip like after 10/15 seconds. Then you most likely will have to buy extra tickets, and with that it’s really only worth it if you buy like the 200 one I believe or better. You go through a lot of tickets to get through a level. They do give a lot of free coins and diamonds but with the diamonds you will need to watch a video every now and then. They have options to get triple coins for a fee for a few hours but I’d rather just watch the videos for that. It’s sad that all these games take advantage of our addictive game playing. I understand they are a Buisness and that’s to make money but seriously I think instead of like 50$ for an ultimate package of coins, tickets etc. if they actually charged like a 1$ then most people would still spend about 50$ but not feel like wth did I just spend my money on lol. And most likely will still spend money. Maybe you get someone to do the 50$ once but once they realize that that purchase didn’t last long they won’t do it again.

I only give it three stars because the game itself is pretty well built and actually mostly fun to play - when it allows you to play, that is. During the first level, you can play as much as you want. I paid $10 for no ads because I thought for a well-built game it was worth supporting them. But once I got to the second level, a ‘tickets’ counter appeared that limited the number of runs you can do to 20, and if you wanna play more you have to wait 20 minutes per ticket or pay even more money to get a few tickets to keep playing. Ridiculously greedy honestly. Additionally, the ads on instagram were misleading - they showed much more interesting levels with floating tracks, a lot of jumps, and a lot of momentum. In the actual game, you’re sledding on high friction snowy terrain with little variety, you don’t cover much distance during any given level. It’s so close to being a fantastic game. Fix the ticket system and make longer, more interesting levels with ability to choose what level you wanna play, and you’ll have a best seller.

This game is fun, don’t get me wrong. There is lots of mindless fun to be had when playing this game. It is a very satisfying gameplay loop that keeps you engaged with upgrades, speed, and airtime. Sticking the landing will always feel good. That’s where it ends. Where the tables turn you’ll start to see the evil amounts of greed put into this predatory game. Just when you think that the annoying amounts of advertisements would be enough to just play one more run, you run out of tickets. What are these tickets? They are the #1 way predatory developers try to shovel money out of you because shoving advertisements down your throats wasn’t enough for their burning pockets. These “tickets” limit how much you can play and attempt you to grab your wallet to spend money to keep playing this game. What is essentially a Unity asset-flip is begging you to get on your hands and knees and give them more money. This is aimed at kids to beg their parents for 10 more dollars to keep playing on their iPads. These types of developers do not care about you, they just want to find the mode predatory way to siphon money from you and your kids. This game is not “ad supported” it is “predatory practice supported” and this practice should be illegal. If you have ads being shoved in the faces of many, you should not charge to keep playing the game. I do not advise anybody play this game unless you know how to circumvent the greedy practice and keep playing without giving any more money to the developers.
