At 72 and managing type 2 diabetes, I’ve tried all sorts of apps and diets over the years—most of them too complicated or not very helpful. But this one really surprised me. I took a quick photo of my wife’s homemade chicken dinner, and it broke everything down for me—what’s good, what I should watch out for, and even how it fits into my daily goals. The meal plans are spot on and actually match the kind of food I like to eat. It doesn’t feel like a diet, just smart choices. I honestly wish I had something like this 10 years ago. Highly recommend it, especially if you believe, like I do, that food is one of the best medicines we’ve got.

Foojy just got roomier! On iPad, iPhone in landscape and the unfolded iPhone Duo, every tab now shows your list on one side and the details on the other, so you can browse meals, your diary and your profile without all the back-and-forth. Your meal ideas are getting personal, too. Foojy now learns your go-to staples from your food diary. Always logging rice dishes? Expect fresh rice-based meals that fit your health goals, not reruns of last Tuesday. Logging is quicker and friendlier: Add Food shows what you recently had for that meal (and quietly skips anything Foojy Check told you to limit), you can log a custom amount in grams or ml, and when search comes up empty, tap "Can't find it?" to Ask Foojy AI (Premium) or enter it yourself. Protein shakes, creatine and vitamins still log in a tap; they just skip the Foojy Check verdict now. We also fixed the barcode scanner closing Add Food before you could see your food, and taught the grocery list to count in your language. Happy eating!
