So far just Okay

I’ve been using the app for a few days and the information can be really helpful, however there are inconsistent readings when a project is scan multiple times. The n one instance sesame seeds was green and a low risk and and the next time it was a medium risk so the score completely changed. This occurred with other ingredients. Also, the history rating is different than the actual initial rating. A little confusing.

Waste of Money - Many Better Apps Free

Really hoped that this app would be what it advertised, especially for a paid app. However, not only are the results heavily skewed in favor of downplaying additives and toxins, each search also takes forever. I have four other free apps I’ve tried that have better ratings and immediate results. I put this app up against those this week, and this app took 78 seconds to give me readings on one product, while a similar free app took 4 seconds. Complete waste of money, way too slow, poor search results, and overall not what is advertised.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! we get it, speed matters. RevealIt uses AI to scan full ingredient lists and analyze health impact based on medical research, not just surface-level flagging. That takes a few extra seconds, but delivers far deeper insight than most barcode-based apps. We’re also constantly optimizing for speed and your example helps. If fast + free works better for your needs, no hard feelings. But accuracy takes an extra beat — and for some people, that’s worth it!

I don’t appreciate how they ask for personal info before you even sign up to use the app. You have to accept them sending you a free product, there’s no option to skip. Then you have to pay for the app, $5 a month. I would have preferred to be presented with the cost of the app first so I could decide whether or not to use it and then I can enter my info, not answer all those invasive questions to be told I have to pay to use the app. This is deceiving.

Waste of time

You have to answer tons of questions that are personal and invasive before it’ll let you even get into the app. Then it says it wants a credit card or you can try for free for a three day trial. It felt like it was a marketing study they were doing on me. Asking me how much money I make. Many invasive questions that seemed unnecessary for me to be able to use the app to get data.
