Fixes in the anonymous usage statistics that help decide what to build next. Nothing changes in how the app works.

Added • Quintuplets, sextuplets and septuplets: 5, 6 or 7 notes per beat, next to eighths, sixteenths and triplets • Rests inside the beat: tap a note under the subdivision to silence it. Sixteenths with the second note silent make a gallop. The main screen shows the pattern next to its name • Compound meters counted in dotted quarters (6/8, 9/8, 12/8) keep the subdivisions they had, without the new ones and without rests Changed • Haptics are now in time with the click and work at every tempo • The subdivision picker in Time Signature is now two rows of larger buttons that show every name in full, easier to read and to hit • Unplugging headphones or disconnecting a Bluetooth speaker now pauses the metronome instead of carrying on through the iPhone speaker. Other apps in your Ableton Link session keep playing Fixed • The Woodblock sound now plays right on the beat. It was about 25 ms late • With Ableton Link on and a subdivision, the accents now stay on Link's beat. Before, they could land a note early or on the off-beat, and the first beat could play twice • With long meters like 16/16, the Time Signature sheet now fits the screen. It was cut off at the sides • Tapping a very slow tempo (around 20 BPM) no longer starts over when a tap is slightly late

Changed • The paywall lists only what you can use right away. Tempo Detection and the Accuracy Trainer are still part of Pro, under Settings → Experimental • The pitch setting changes the clicks only. The Voice sound and the voice count-in keep their natural voice Fixed • Loading a preset from a collection takes you back to the metronome again • The ••• menu no longer flickers with the beat while the metronome plays • At the largest text sizes and on smaller iPhones in landscape, the Play and ••• buttons stay on screen • In landscape, the Playback Options cards stand out from the background, and the Sound menu no longer splits "Click" over two lines

New • Count-in: 1, 2 or 4 bars before the first bar, with a click or a voice count • Auto stop after a number of bars or a time, with a bar counter • Screen flash on the beat • Tempo down to 20 BPM • Play a collection with previous and next buttons. Arrow keys, Page Up / Page Down and Bluetooth foot pedals work too • Lock screen widgets for your practice time and streak • A link to the online User Manual in Settings Improved • Option sheets have a new glass look, and the Time Signature sheet fits its content • The visualizations now move exactly with the click you hear, and run at 120 Hz on ProMotion iPhones • The Pendulum uses the whole screen and lights up its turn points on each click. The Line flashes on the off-beat • On iPhone, haptic beats now land together with the click you hear Fixed • The Pendulum arm now stays on its pivot • The Practice widget now shows your practice. Open the app once after updating • The microphone now always turns off when you close Tempo Detection • "This Week" shows the same total in the app and in the widget • On Mac and iPad, the preset and collection forms no longer cut off the Save button • After reinstalling, your Pro settings are no longer switched off before your purchase is recognised

FIXED • Presets, collections and practice history are kept safe when one of them was made with a newer version of Makonome. Such presets show as read-only until you update • An unknown accent on one beat no longer resets the whole accent pattern • The widget keeps showing your practice time when one session was made with a newer version • Sixteenth-note meters with sixteenths selected now play with no subdivision, as they show

NEW • Time signatures: 2/4 to 12/8, or any meter up to 16 beats over 2, 4, 8 or 16 • Accent groups for odd meters like 7/8 (2+2+3, 3+2+2 and more), shown as grouped beats • 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8 can count the dotted beat or every eighth note • Presets and practice sessions save the time signature. Your existing presets stay as they were IMPROVED • More accurate tap tempo • Tap tempo, haptics and Ableton Link follow the meter's beat FIXED • Choosing a preset in a practice session now updates the Metronome tab right away • iCloud restore no longer risks overwriting your backup on a bad connection • Ableton Link: accents could start a beat early at very fast tempos

What's New in 1.0.4 Accuracy Trainer. Plug in an electronic kit over MIDI and see how tight you really play. You get live timing for every hit, a per-drum breakdown, and a Tightness slider to set how strict it is. Free Time mode. After a count-in, the click goes silent and Makonome tracks whether you're rushing or dragging, bar by bar. Practice mode hides the numbers while you play and shows a short summary every few bars, so you learn to feel the time yourself. Record and share sessions, with full timing detail for each hit. Plus timing accuracy fixes. Hits are now scored against when you actually hear the click. The Accuracy Trainer is a Pro feature. Turn it on in Settings → Experimental.

Ableton Link support added! Go to the Settings -> Experimental features and toggle the Ableton Link. You can now sync the Makonome to any Ableton Link enabled app. It will detect any running session on the same WIFI network and sync to the tempo and beat.

Small bug fixes and UI improvements.

Relaxed the trial expiry consequences. The app now let's you use the previously created presets and collections when the trial expireds.
