Great option for taking the guess work out of training

I’m a huge fan of the TriDot app (used for both Half and Full Ironmans) and am a firm believer in how they optimize training via the app training programs. RunDot follows the same training logic, but with a sole focus on runners as opposed to triathletes. The app interface is user friendly and the in-session coaching voice informing you of pace is super helpful to ensure you are optimizing every session and not over- or under-training. If you have an upcoming race or a goal for the new year, RunDot is a great option to take the guess work out of programming and to help you reach your goals!

This app makes training so much smoother and more inspiring. The easy navigation and clean design make it super simple to use. The straightforward layout keeps my focus on what I’m doing. I love seeing my performance metrics right away, like Dot and TrainX scores. There is a table that breaks down Dot scores into Competitive, Highly Competitive, and Elite, giving me a clear picture of how I’m doing and what I need to work on. The motivational feedback really gets me going. After each session, the app updates my TrainX score, which keeps me motivated. Plus, the estimated pre-run distance feature adds a nice touch to every run.It’s super easy to start a run whenever I want. I can jump into a planned workout or just head out for a spontaneous session with a few taps. I can also input upcoming races, and the app adjusts my training plan to match my goals, giving me personalized advice. It syncs perfectly with the RunDot platform, so my data is always up to date on all my devices. It connects easily to wearables like my heart rate monitor and Stryd Pod, so I can focus on training without any tech issues.The app’s design is modern and motivating, with an easy-to-use layout that makes it simple to track my progress and dive into session details. I like technology but I frequently feel overwhelmed with it. I’m happy to say that this App is easy to use and understand. I downloaded it, input basic personal information, and within minutes I had my first run loaded and I hit the road. I usually wear a smart watch but for my first run I just had my iPhone. I don’t typically carry my phone on runs and use a Garmin watch. But to my surprise I loved the guided run from the phone and think it really dialed in my pace allowing me to execute my run really well. The instant summary and feedback of my completed run was also Really nice. All I had to do was just run and follow the prompts. The interface is super easy and has all the info you need . I may not ever run with only my watch again.

First off I loved the look of RunDot. It was sleek easy to use without having to click through lots of screens. I really liked that user could take advantage of the app without needing a smart watch and still get a good workout. The workout was explained thoroughly and easy to understand. However I also like that you could do a free run and was easy to pause for a bathroom break. Definitely worth a try and so far I would recommend it to those training for an upcoming run race .
