Six seconds. More ways to make them yours. MAKE SOMETHING WEIRD • Turn a clip into a boomerang that plays forward and back, or speed it up and slow it down as it plays. • Put several clips into a split-screen layout in one step. • Mix text, stickers, drawings and layered clips with the video beneath them using blend modes. • Bend the picture with Fisheye or send glassy Drops drifting across it. • Fill your text with color gradients and let oversized titles stretch past the frame without wrapping. • Copy a clip or layer’s style and paste it onto others. FIND YOUR LOOP • Use a ghost frame of your previous take to line up the next one in Capture mode. • Try a suggested ending for a smoother loop, then keep it or put it back. • Snap trims to the playhead. Delete a clip and the playhead moves to the cut. • Record with standard stabilization by default, and choose whether front-camera clips save mirrored. SOUND LIKE YOU • Record straight into My Sounds. Keep a sound private or share it for others to use. • Speed up or slow down added sounds. • Lower the music while your voice-over talks. FIND YOUR PEOPLE • Discover, follow and manage video and people lists in one place. People lists are now available without experimental settings. • Find people by their Divine username. Smart sorting brings people you follow or message closer to hand. • Share profile links with usernames again, and find creators’ support links where available. • Divine Supporters get an animated halo and wings around their profile picture. KEEP WATCHING. KEEP TALKING. • Keep swiping from a single video into For You. Loop counts update while you watch. • Portrait videos stay visible on profiles and when opened directly. Temporarily unavailable videos get another chance to load. • Video messages show previews and stay on your device after downloading. Open camera-roll videos from chats, too. • Clearer message retries and read-status feedback. Blocking someone in a group hides their messages without hiding the whole conversation. • Likes on the same comment now share a notification. FEWER INTERRUPTIONS The camera and editor give back more memory. Old duplicate recordings get cleaned up. Reused Vines no longer start with a black frame on iOS. We also fixed account-switching leftovers, sound links and sharing details. Account Status explains age-review closures more clearly and points appeals to private support. Your client-attribution choice stays with retried or edited videos. Own what you make. Choose what you see.

Keep your loop moving. FOLLOW THE ACTION Make text, stickers and drawings follow a moving subject. Give clips a new entrance with nine more transitions, including zoom, spin and whip pan. Shape clips and overlays with masks, steady a shaky take, or add a visualizer that moves with your sound. START WITH THE SOUND Lip sync now opens the sound picker first. Hear something you want to use? Ask the creator to make it reusable through a private message. KEEP WHAT MATTERS Back up new recordings to your gallery, save several clips at once, and bring saved Divine camera clips back into your library. Put a conversation away without deleting its history. A new message brings it back. FIND YOUR PEOPLE Follow hashtags and open them from the Home feed picker. Reply with a video. Paste a supported Nostr profile or video link into search to jump straight there. FEWER INTERRUPTIONS Better protection for recordings when you leave the app or flip cameras. More reliable editing and exporting, message catch-up, account switching and Following feeds. Plus fixes for sign-in, saved drafts and a Post button that could get stuck. Own what you make. Choose what you see.

More ways to make a scene. Fewer things getting in your way. Make it move. Animate text, stickers, drawings and layered clips with keyframes. Pick where they move, grow, turn and fade. Titles can also type themselves out, wiggle, bounce or loop. Catch the beat. Time effects to your music, or leave a ghostly trail behind moving subjects with the new Echo Trail effect. Shape your sound. Adjust bass, mids and treble on clips, music and voice-overs with the new equalizer. Hide a little. Draw a little. Blur or pixelate parts of your video, and preview your brush size before drawing. Make something together. Send Divine camera clips through a one-to-one chat so a friend can edit them into their own video, with credit carried along. Keep the screen clear. Pinch to hide the controls, then keep swiping. They stay hidden through video changes and auto-advance until you bring them back. Captions your way. Choose a subtitle language and keep selected languages in the original. Translations appear when available and are marked as machine-translated. Tapping captions now reaches the video underneath. Find your people. More relevant people search, better loading of later results, cleaner video details and links, and profile tabs that stop scrolling when the content does. Know what got through. Clearer feedback when messages or reaction changes fail, plus better retries and delivery handling. Less everyday friction. Fixes for sign-in interruptions, notification setup, crossposting controls and videos pausing when they shouldn’t. Give the editor a workout: animate a layer, adjust its sound, save a draft, reopen it and export. Try passing a camera clip to a friend, too.

Welcome home. 1.0.23 is a chunky one. **Make more** - Green screen — cut out a clip's background and drop it on the canvas - 44 new fonts for your titles, and save any title's look to reuse later - Save caption styles, reuse them across videos - Mix stop-motion stills with camera clips in a single loop - Record a voice-over while the video plays behind you - Credit more than one creator with Inspired By **Sounds** - Upload your own sound and let the community reuse it - Find sounds by tags, and see how often a sound's been looped **Your profile** - Pin up to six loops to the top - Bookmarks now have their own tab **Supporters** - All three supporter plans are live in the app Under the hood: smoother scrolling, lower memory use, and relays that reconnect on their own — plus a mountain of messaging and notification fixes. Keep looping.

Welcome Home. This is one of our biggest updates yet. We rebuilt a lot under the hood so your messages arrive, your feed loads, and your creations land where they should. NEW Tag people in captions: type @ and choose who you mean. Credit more than one creator on a video with Inspired By. Pick a sound and see how many loops it has already powered. Badges: a new tab for awards, plus controls to revoke one you gave or remove one you no longer want. Brand new screens for your lists. A switch to turn analytics collection off, in Settings, and a storage screen that shows what Divine is using and lets you remove leftover files. Share Divine with friends straight from Settings. Divine now speaks Telugu. MESSAGES, REBUILT One relay going quiet used to strand your whole history. Not anymore. We reworked message restore so old conversations come back even when a relay will not answer. We also closed the quiet ways a message could vanish: sends, deletes, reactions, group chats, unread badges, and message requests. DMs now behave the way you expect, across both modern and older message formats. YOUR FEED Switching feeds shows videos instantly instead of a blank screen. The New feed stays in order. Hashtag feeds page the whole way and stop dropping videos. A feed that fails now tells you whether it is us or your connection. CREATE The editor is steadier: exports no longer hang, cancel actually cancels, and the progress bar tells the truth. Duplicate stop-motion frames, and lift a clip onto the canvas to place it where you want. Chroma key now gives you plain-wall guidance. iOS Music mode records the music, not the room. WATCH Loops close cleanly, with no seam at the end on either platform. Wide videos play at the right proportions. A video that will not play tells you why instead of doing nothing. SAFETY AND TRUST Filters explain why a video was hidden instead of leaving you guessing. Restricted account messages show up on every way you sign in. New safety labels arrive without a restart. ACCOUNT AND THE LONG TAIL Deleting your account is safer, honest about where things stand, and recoverable while the server catches up. No more inheriting the last account's data when you switch. Report and Block are always on someone else's profile. Bug reports strip photo metadata and include what we need to actually help. The small stuff matters too. Saved sounds stop playing silence, updates are easier to find, follower counts hold steady across devices, and the green heart finally looks Divine. Thank you for building this with us. Go make something.

Welcome home. We left the light on — or off. Your call. Light mode has landed. Settings → General → Appearance, then pick System, Light or Dark. Dark's still home base. Badges, made by you Mint a Nostr badge and hand it to someone without ever leaving the app. See one on a profile? Tap it and we'll tell you what it took to earn. The editor got hands Crop, rotate and flip your stop-motion frames. Cropping moves like it should now, sound waveforms actually look like the sound, and when a render goes sideways we tell you why instead of shrugging. Your library, your rules Drafts are one tap from the recorder. Pinch to zoom the grid, long-press and drag to grab a fistful of clips, and file them wherever makes sense to you. Captions that keep up Time your captions against the video instead of counting seconds in your head. No captions? We'll say why, and help you write them. A feed that knows what you've seen Stuff you've already watched steps aside for stuff you haven't. And when a feed won't load, we'll tell you straight whether it's us or your signal. No more staring at a spinner, guessing. You, in charge Change your Divine email and password in Settings. Link and unlink accounts right here. Your followers sort newest-first, and profiles lead with something friendlier than a wall of characters. Sounds that travel Save a sound on one device, find it on the next. Everyone gets in Screen readers can now drive the editor, the recorder and your profile tabs. If you've asked your phone to ease up on motion, we listen. Plus: every language we ship got its missing words filled in, uploads hold on tight when your connection doesn't, deleted videos actually leave, bookmarks stay put, notifications say what really happened, and we tightened up privacy and security throughout. Go make something. We'll be here.

Six seconds, endless loops, no slop. Here's what's new. MAKE MORE IN THE EDITOR Captions: generate them on device, burn them in with a preset, or publish them as a CC track people can toggle. Green screen: drop a chroma key on any clip and shoot your own background. Borrow a clip or a sound, keep the credit. Reused work now points back to whoever made it, and creators decide whether their originals can be reused at all. PUBLISH FASTER Publishing is about 32% faster. We took thumbnail work off the critical path so your loop goes live sooner. Drafts save while you're still working, and a video can no longer go out under the wrong account. WATCH YOUR WAY Press and hold any video to fade the whole interface away. Let go and it's back. Nothing sticks, nothing gets stuck. Playback toggles, content filters, and feed tuning are easier to find and easier to undo. TALK TO YOUR PEOPLE Messages got a rebuild: unread stands out, filters and search actually work, and we fixed four different ways DMs could quietly go missing. Group chats with people you follow land in your inbox, not in requests. Reach Divine Moderation straight from the top of your inbox. LISTS, PROFILES, AND WHO'S WHO Your own lists are visible and shareable, and you'll get a notification when someone adds you to a public one. A new edit-profile screen, search inside your followers and following, and long-press your own video to edit or delete it. Get notified when a creator you follow posts. We now explain, in plain language, what each of the four verification checks on a video actually means. CROSSPOST Send your loops to Bluesky manually, on your terms, from your connection settings. SPEAK YOUR LANGUAGE Added Vietnamese, Urdu, Chinese, and Malay. That's 17 languages, fully translated. PLUS Hundreds of smaller fixes: loops that restart without a stutter, a faster cold start, stalled relays that no longer drag everything else down, and a long list of rough edges sanded off. Own what you make. Choose what you see.

One frame at a time. Stop Motion is here. Build a loop frame by frame, play with the timing, add sound and layers, save it to Clips, and come back whenever inspiration strikes. Also new: • Instant clip splitting and audio waveforms • Save trimmed clips and duplicate drafts • Save videos shared in DMs • Tap Home to jump back to the top and refresh • Interrupted publishes now pick up where they left off Plus smoother playback, fewer repeats, and fixes across the camera, navigation, sign-in, and more. Go make something weird.

Creation just got smoother. • Add voice-overs and reverse clips. • Enjoy steadier, more responsive multi-clip editing. • Keep video uploads moving when Divine is in the background. • Manage storage and choose your cache limit. • Share faster and double-tap messages to like them. • Get better translations, fixes across the camera, feed, playback, and comments. More making. Less friction. Keep looping.

What's New in 1.0.15 Hold to record. Press and hold the shutter to capture, let go when you're done. That easy. Jump straight in. New home-screen shortcuts drop you right into the camera or your notifications. Editor leveled up. Drop markers on your timeline, long-press the volume button to mute individual tracks, and pick exactly where a community sound kicks in. Make it yours. Save your own loops to your clip library and reuse them anytime. Better DMs. A full emoji picker for custom reactions, plus a message box that grows as you type. Smoother scrolling. Faster, cleaner playback in the feed — and your controls come right back when you pause. Plus a pile of fixes: sharper notifications, a more reliable editor, and switching accounts without ever losing your drafts. Life in loops.

Life in Loops got a bigger tune-up. This update brings more tools for making loops your own: clip speed controls, timeline volume editing, local audio imports, audio extraction from clips, and a smoother post editing flow. DMs got livelier too, with emoji reactions, lightweight markdown, better inbox previews, and sturdier message delivery. Profiles got banner uploads, verified account chips, cleaner text links, and better loading states. We also added clip trash with 30-day recovery, sharper Explore and Popular filters, better search sorting, improved notifications, smoother feed playback, stronger upload/retry handling, and fixes across comments, invites, collabs, account recovery, and video metadata.

What's new in 1.0.12 The OGs are looping again. Lele Pons, JimmyHere, Megan McCarthy, Gary Vee, MightyDuck, and Jack and Jack are posting six-second loops on Divine. What else is new: - Replies are back. Comment on any loop, get pinged when someone replies to yours, and tap the notification to land right in the conversation. - The audio picker now searches, remembers your saved sounds, and lets you reuse anyone's track in your own loop. Two new bundled tracks: Wednesday My Dudes and State Highway. - Your divine.video handle finally shows up the way you'd expect: @you, no domain dragging behind it. - Deep-link straight into any Explore tab by name. - Filipino joins the language list. - Recording keeps your screen awake so the timer doesn't bail mid-take. - DMs queue up locally now: type, send, walk into a tunnel, the message still goes out. Sharper edges: - Bigger tap targets on the bottom nav and across video gestures. - Pull-to-refresh on the home feed works again. The New tab refreshes fresh, and Popular Now sorts the way it says. - View counts and loops on the New feed and your profile match the numbers we actually count. - Native Apple loop playback. The seam at the end of the loop is basically invisible now. - The Divine-hosted-only filter starts on by default. - Notification taps for liked-your-comment and replied go to the right place; the Follow Back button stops disappearing on you. - Edited videos count likes across every version. Your reactions add up the way they should. - Verified handles survive a profile edit. Collaborator-tagged videos stop leaking into your own feed. - Black video previews fixed. Fullscreen engagement stats restored. - Nostr links in messages render as readable links, not alphabet soup. - Settings deletion confirmation accepts lowercase. We were being dramatic. - Invite codes show the dash hint after the 4th character. - Stuck downloads evict their bad cache and retry once you bounce Settings. Privacy and security: - iOS hardens the in-app Nostr bridge with per-frame origin checks. - Logs no longer keep deep-link query strings or auth headers.

We tightened up the whole diVine loop. Feeds refresh more reliably, especially on Home, New, and Popular. Notifications are easier to scan, with better grouping and video thumbnails so you can tell what happened without playing detective. The camera now starts on the back camera by default, upload mode has clearer guidance, and deep links behave better when you’re jumping into videos, invites, or the app from the outside world. We also cleaned up sign-in edge cases, made bottom tabs easier to tap, improved image upload retries, quieted one very enthusiastic sound effect, and added stronger guardrails around media links. Plus: more complete language support across the app. Less friction. More loops. Still weird, wonderful, and human.

We made getting into DiVine smoother. - Email verification is more resilient if signup gets interrupted - If you try to create an account with an email that already exists, we now send you to sign in - Login and password reset flows handle flaky connections better - We cleaned up a few auth handoffs so you get a clearer next step instead of a dead end No slop. Just a smoother way into the app.

We’ve been tuning Divine so the good stuff gets easier to find, make, and share. What’s new: - A fresh profile experience, with cleaner video grids and more reliable loop counts. - A smoother recording and editing flow, including better trimming, previews, and clip handling. - Better search, refreshed Explore surfaces, and clearer empty states. - Cleaner settings, including a new Content & Safety area. - Invite improvements for creators and collaborators. What feels better: - Video playback should be steadier, with fewer weird stalls and background hiccups. - Comments, likes, notifications, and inbox badges should feel more in sync. - Password managers, reset-password flows, locale handling, and startup should behave more reliably. - A bunch of sharp little edges across profiles, feeds, search, and the editor got sanded down. Thanks for helping us build a brighter, weirder, more human corner of the internet. No slop. All human.
