Version 2.0 is our biggest update since launch. If you tried Magical Mixing Console before and moved on, this is the release worth opening again — almost every screen has been rebuilt for iPhone and iPad. SETUP WIZARD Tap the green wand in the header to configure channels step by step. Pick vocals, kick, snare, bass, keys, stage monitors, and more — then choose the bus, name it with icon and color, apply sensible EQ/compressor/gate presets, and set up sends or monitor sources. FRESH START Starting a new gig on a desk that still has last week’s routing? Fresh Start (header menu) resets buses, levels, processing, and routing to a clean slate — while keeping your saved scenes, device name, network settings, and app presets. REDESIGNED BUS VIEW The bus screen is now organized with tabs instead of one long scroll: • Input — source, gain, polarity, stereo link • Reception — who feeds this bus, with live meters and quick mute/solo • Sends — where this bus goes next, with clearer routing indicators • EQ, Gate, Compressor, FX — each with a layout pass for narrow screens Level, pan, name, color, and icon stay visible above the tabs. A grouped bus switcher lets you jump between channels, auxes, mains, and FX returns without losing your place. COMPACT LISTS EVERYWHERE Buses, inputs, outputs, FX, DCAs, mute groups, automix, and scenes share the same compact list layout — important controls at a glance, tap a row to go deeper. Header and footer menus were tightened so more of the screen is yours. UI SCALE Settings → Appearance → Size adjusts text, faders, knobs, and buttons together. Leave it compact on iPad, or turn it up for bigger touch targets under dim stage lighting. Faders stay as large as the layout allows on narrow screens. BUILT-IN HELP Open Help from the header menu for a plain-language guide to buses, inputs, outputs, Reception vs Sends, FX, DCAs, mute groups, and automix — without leaving your mix. PRESETS & TEMPLATES • EQ presets including dedicated Kick and Bass curves • Compressor and gate presets with one-tap reset • Wizard templates with instrument-specific EQ + dynamics combinations IMPROVED CONNECTIVITY More reliable desk connection when networks get busy or conditions are less than ideal — spend less time fighting the connection and more time mixing. Also: light and dark appearance, updated foundations for current iOS and iPadOS, and the same full remote control you expect — levels, EQ, dynamics, routing, FX, scenes, DCAs, and mute groups for Behringer X Air and Midas M Air mixers.
