Excellent Img-to-3D!

I don’t know why this only had a rating of 3 stars. I was tasked with making “action figures” of a coworker and this made it EASY. Use another AI app to make a simplistic image of your subject, then use Image-to-3D to generate a 3D model that can be exported into a file compatible with blender or a 3D printer. The price is steep but I made and exported 4 renderings with the free monthly credits so I feel like I got a very good introduction to the app before needing to pay. Worth trying for any maker.

I don’t know why this only had a rating of 3 stars. I was tasked with making “action figures” of a coworker and this made it EASY. This App will generate really great models from pictures especially for hard surface objects. I have found it best to use the basic settings when trying to get a head sculpt from a photo. It gives you a very good head start on sculpting in Your CAD software. The free credits are nice as well. I honestly would have given this 5 stars but they recently changed the prompt for text to image/ model to try to burn more of your credits. You used to be able to enter a prompt then it would generate it. Now you have to choose a software like chat gpt or Gemini to generate an Image which now costs 10 credits then you have to use credits to generate the model. It’s obviously a blatant attempt to make you spend more money. You can still use Chat GPT or Gemini on your own to generate an image and then open this app and upload your pictures but what a pain and an unnecessary step when they had something amazing before that worked really well. Very disappointed in that. What I paid my first month for feels like a bait and switch at this point.

Received! Our original intention was for users to first determine whether to continue generating text based on the image when using the text generation model. However, your feedback has made us realize the shortcomings of this change. We plan to adjust it so that after generating an image, the integration cost of using that image to generate the model is reduced, making it consistent with the original effect of generating directly from text. Do you think this is acceptable?

Good renders, but a frustrating billing experience

I wanted to use Tripo to generate 3D game assets for income. The renders themselves are great (on par with Meshy), but I had a really frustrating experience with the payment process. When I upgraded using Apple Pay, I didn’t realize at the time it automatically synced to a secondary email address instead of my active account.Customer support did respond to me, which I appreciate, but because they couldn't see the payment under my main email, they couldn't apply the upgrade. To get my $16 back, they told me I'd have to dispute the charge with my bank—something I really prefer not to do.Ultimately, it was just a messy situation with the emails. I never got to download my renders, lost my money, and ended up just moving on to other subscriptions. Just a heads-up to double-check which email your Apple Pay is linked to before upgrading so you don't end up in the same boat. I know it’s not their fault just happens I guess

This works way better in desk top. I use it on pc and it’s works amazing. The only problem is I don’t only upload pictures or write prompts. I can’t build my own stuff piece by piece. Also I got this app and I paid for the subscription on the app but I guess it’s a separate profile than what I use on the pc but on the pc it will not let me sign out of that account so I can add this account so I basically paid for it on here just to not be able to use it how I would like to. I uploaded a picture of my son to make it a model the app made a massive hole in his head, I uploaded the same picture on the pc and it’s flawless. Also i ln the app i wrote in a prompt and I didn’t like the way it came out so I edited the prompt “change the shirt color from black to white” and it took my credits but did not change a single thing. I have made some amazing things on the pc version though 10/10 recommend the pc 0/10 recommend the phone app
