WHY THIS APP
Florida is thriving, and the people on the water deserve better than a generic weather app or a subscription tide site that treats you like a tourist. Florida Weather & Tide is made by a Florida native, avid fisherman, and software engineer who got tired of bouncing between NOAA, FWC, a ramp finder, and a notes app every time he wanted to fish. So he built one thing that does all of it and made it feel like an app you'd actually want on your home screen.
Redfish, snook, tarpon, trout, grouper, mahi, kingfish, cobia whatever you chase, from Pensacola to Key West to Fernandina Beach, this is built for you.
Tight lines.
Fixed a crash on the map. Zooming quickly could leave the map stuck on an error screen until you force-quit and reopened the app. That is fixed.
Regulations is no longer hidden. The season board only appeared after you logged your first catch, so new users never saw it. It now sits in the Fish Log from the moment you install, alongside Log and Insights.
Tide charts are more accurate on daylight saving changeover days. The last hour of the day could previously drop out of the curve, which could hide a late high or low.
