Gun Hero is a 2D shooter where you play as a fearless battle cat determined to survive endless hordes of monsters. I honestly really like this game aside from the excessive abs like every other game on the App Store now. I do have a few actual problems though. For starters, it seems like the healing aspect in the fight is incredibly slow compared to how hurt you get from the monsters no matter the “buffs” you have on or the level of the med pack, and then there’s the revive if I use an ad to revive my character I should get a second chance to revive using the gems, but if I start with the gems, then I understand not getting a second chance, but if I start with the ad. I should have a second chance to use the gems. Because otherwise having the choice between using gems or an ad is pretty much useless. Like completely utterly useless. As useless as putting a dead stick in the ground, thinking it’ll turn into a tree. I’m not kidding and I’m not exaggerating. Either remove the choice or make it an actual choice. I am so tired of mobile games, giving you false choices between ads or multiplying your rewards or reviving your character it doesn’t matter what the choice is. I’m tired of the false choices.

Good potential, ruined by greed

There’s so much to say about this but a lot of reviews already covered it. One, this game has enormous potential if the developers were greedy cheapskates trying to cash grab the users constantly by suffocating you with ads. My work around is everytime i play and they force me to watch an ad mid game i just swipe out the app and resume my round. The issue is they literally punish you by sabotaging your game, i even took a screenshot for proof, if you play the round where bullet holes take up your bag space, if you leave the app and re-open so you’re not forced to watch the ad, the game will add 2-3 bullet holes to you bag. Coincidently they somehow forgot the fix the “bug” or “glitch” where it literally removes weapons and modifications from your bag and makes them unusable if you try to exit the app to avoid watching the ad. Not to mention they purposely make it hard cornering players into watching ads or spending money to win more by making your character miss shots even though you have an accuracy of 97% or somehow the enemies get a critical hit on you at the most critical moment. Not to mention there’s clearly a built in software within the app that knows if you exit the app and re-open your game to avoid the ad becuse everytime i do it i get a “buy ad skips if you want to skip ads” which leads me to believe the bug or glitch i mentioned is intentional.

F for failure to this game
The game is honestly fun haven’t gotten any ads so far but whenever I move on to the second part of chapter 1 I’m stuck all the coins I have are useless when I keep failing before wave 15 and the stuff I get to attempt to beat it is lackluster so I’m stuck constantly dieing and the only way to actually continue is to either watch a ad(unavailable for me ) or p2w which I can’t do so I’m stuck constantly dieing before wave 10 on part 2 of chapter 1 nonstop please make it easier or when you lose you still get parts to upgrade your cards and get stronger and beat it after a few fails could also have a different acquiring gear for your gun during campaign like you get 3 free items to work with to merge and add

It’s a fun game I only have a few complaints. There’s some bugs like where a stunned enemy will continue attacking or performing its next move that turn rather than being stuck during that move. I also spent gems to revive myself one match but instead of continuing all the characters were stuck in their idle stance. Then when I exited out the game and came back in, it asked if I wanted to resume my previous match, which I clicked yes, and it reverted me back to my health before I died and revived myself in which I immediately died and failed the round and all my gems I had spent were gone. Mind you gems aren’t GIVEN to you in this game. They’re bought other than the daily 20 or so you get everyday. Other than that my only other addition is that the armor should show up on the cat when you equip it. I think that’d look better as well as making it easier to tell what armor I have on exactly rather than scrolling through the many armor items I have to see which is check marked
