I’ve tried several cigar journal apps over the years, and Humidor Journal has become the one I use every day.The app is intuitive, beautifully designed, and has everything I need to track my collection, rate cigars, and record each smoking experience. What started as a simple inventory app has become a genuine journal of my cigar journey.What truly sets this app apart, however, is the developer.I reached out with a few ideas that I thought would improve the experience. Dariel responded almost immediately, listened carefully, and within days had implemented one of those suggestions in a new update. As someone who has worked with software developers before, I know how uncommon that level of responsiveness is.The new “My Journey” feature has transformed the app for me. Instead of simply reviewing cigars, I’m now documenting the memories, lessons, pairings, conversations, and experiences that surround them. It’s become much more than a rating app—it’s become a personal cigar diary.If you’re looking for an app to manage your humidor, you’ll love it.If you’re looking for an app that helps preserve the stories behind every cigar you smoke, this one is in a class of its own.Thank you, Dariel, for building such a fantastic app and for continuing to make it even better.

After investing the time to log more than 250 cigars, not having a simple way to export your collection is a valid concern.While the app does include backup functionality, I can see how that is not the same as having a clean, printable export of your inventory. Your feedback has given me a better understanding of how important this feature is for collectors who want a physical copy of their collection or a master inventory list.I am actively considering adding export functionality, but I would love to better understand what information you would want included. Would you prefer a simple inventory list, a humidor-by-humidor report, or a more detailed export with ratings, purchase information, and notes?If you'd be willing to share your thoughts, please email me at support@flnetworks.com. Dariel seems to have thought of it all. Very comprehensive and easy to use. The AI scan seems to have very little trouble in determining the correct smoke. You want to generate more- like composition, CA ratings, your own personal notes? The app has it. Room for photos too. In my book, it’s a winner! 99 in my unofficial CA rating! 👍

Dariel seems to have thought of it all. Very comprehensive and easy to use. The AI scan seems to have very little trouble in determining the correct smoke. You want to generate more- like composition, CA ratings, your own personal notes? The app has it. Room for photos too. In my book, it’s a winner! 99 in my unofficial CA rating! 👍

Handling Cigars is clumsy

This app has some good features, but there is no way to transfer x out of y cigars of a type from one humidor to another. It seems the copy paste has to be done field by field. Oddly, when a cigar in a humidors court goes to zero it’s still listed as in the humidor one the cigar page but not in the humidors page. It would be better to have the cigars as a top level item, AI download once, add to any or none of the humidors. Also it would be nice to have lengths and ring gauges. The app is considerable better than its competitors, now that I downloaded them. Fast response to my review that’s rate and impressive. He ask me to email him and I will in a day or two. He cares and that is rate for a developer!

Tracking Doesn’t Work

I saw this in the App Store and was really excited to use. Take a picture of a cigar and it identifies the cigar. Now, the app does have a fee but for what it does I was willing to pay for it. You get 10 free identification and I used it on 10 cigars. It identified 9 so that’s not bad. If you have a big collection as I do then you need to upgrade and pay for the app. Unlimited, awesome. So I paid the fee and I still only get the 10 free after I bought the app. I figure it is probably user error and I didn’t get it right. So, I emailed the company a week ago got no response. So, back to looking for an app that does what this one claims to do. If you have a small collection maybe it will work for your needs. I recommend you to keep searching for a good app. In theory this could be great..
