The app is EXTREMELY glitchy! I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app on my tv several times for it to work. I’ve had my recorded shows disappear on me when I know that I’ve recorded them and wanted to watch them later. I’ve also clicked on the app to watch a show and it tells me that I have to buy the Value Channels package to watch that particular channel when I had already bought the package months earlier. When the app does work, the shows and channels are good to watch, but when the app is acting up, it gets very frustrating to try to get everything working so you can watch your channels and shows.UPDATE: Still glitchy. I now have about 4 episodes of OP:LIVE that I thought that I had recorded and they are on my “list” that says “recording” when the program is over (like WAAAY over; like 8 hours over) and now I can’t watch them because they didn’t get recorded. And I also can’t erase the “recording” shows that are listed because there is no erase/delete button like there is when you finish watching a recorded program. FreeCast, you better step up on improving/updating the app and getting rid of the glitches and problems with recording shows. It is getting frustrating and annoying not being able to watch your recorded shows (or shows that you *THOUGHT* that you had recorded!).

If you are a fan of outdoor and rural lifestyle programming, Value Channels is the streaming service for you. You get RFD-TV, Cowboy Channel, INSP, FETV/FMC, Pursuit, and all three of the Outdoor Sportsman Group networks. Having all these networks at an affordable price is worth five stars in and of itself. But when you get around to watching them on Apple TV, you end up needing to uninstall and reinstall the app just to switch to a paid channel in the guide. Even if you open the app and it tunes to the last channel you watched, which happens to be a paid channel, switching to another paid channel brings up an error message stating you need to purchase a subscription which you already purchased. The only way to fix this is to uninstall and reinstall the app.. I would appreciate if Value Channels could be turned into an IPTV N3U playlist for GSE Smart IPTV or VLC, because this uninstall and reinstall business is getting really old.

The app has been a bit glitchy in the past, but recent updates have brought it a long way.I’ve started using FreeCast to help me manage my subscriptions and save money, as well as find new shows and movies to watch.What I love about the app is that it’s free and I don’t need to subscribe to anything to watch some of the channels.
