This is our largest update yet. We rebuilt the home screen, redesigned onboarding, introduced a new Care Profile, and made dozens of improvements across notifications, scheduling, family management, and account security. A redesigned home screen Today's agenda is now a full-day scrollable timeline so you can see medications, care team visits, tasks, and appointments in one calm view. Care team visit days appear on your home screen, and a visit prep sheet gives you clearer information about today's visits. Gentle prompts on home help your family fill in important care details over time without hunting through settings. Completing or dismissing tasks on home now stays synced for everyone in your family. Onboarding, rebuilt from the ground up Getting started is clearer whether you are the patient, primary caregiver, or family support. Your progress saves automatically, so you can close the app and pick up where you left off. Role selection is more reliable, including for sign-in with Apple or Google. Medications you add during setup flow directly into your medication list and today's schedule when you finish onboarding. Existing users on our updated sign-in system can set a new password through a guided recovery flow. The welcome flow is smoother on both phone and iPad. Care Profile A new step-by-step Care Profile (or My Health Profile for patients) is available in Settings. It builds on what you shared during onboarding, including preferences, comfort needs, caregiver information, and other details that help your family coordinate care. Answers from onboarding carry over automatically. The home screen gently nudges you to complete anything still missing, one piece at a time. Notifications that take you where you need to go Notifications are clearer and more useful. Tapping a notification opens the right medication, task, appointment, note, or care team visit instead of a generic screen. The notification wall shows helpful context such as tags and snippets for notes. Care team visit reminders are more reliable, with improved scheduling and fewer duplicate alerts. Schedule, medications, and care log improvements Adding medications, tasks, appointments, and care log entries now uses a consistent, cleaner design across the app. Medication search is faster, with suggested dose options and improved keyboard behavior. Medication cards show a start date when relevant, and you can sort by recently added. Task filters, sharing, and detail links are improved. Appointments support calendar export, reminders, PDF sharing, and easier telehealth link entry. Care log filters and editing are expanded, with unified filter controls and author filtering. Family and settings Managing your family is easier. Access requests now show the requester's full name and role so you can approve or deny with confidence. Settings, profile, and family management screens have been refreshed. You can edit your display name from Settings. When deleting your account, you will be prompted to download your data first. Privacy and security We strengthened protections for your family's private health information. Sensitive data is stored more securely on your device, account access is tighter, and private information is cleared when you sign out. Sign-in is more stable, with fewer unexpected logouts or redirects to the welcome screen. Resources and iPad improvements The What to Expect in the Final Days section now matches the rest of the app's look and feel. On iPad, onboarding modals, sign-in layout, and the full agenda view have been tuned for a better tablet experience. This release also includes many behind-the-scenes fixes for syncing, care team roster updates, profile photos, and overall stability. Thank you for being part of the Within Reach community. With this release, WithinReach introduces one of our biggest updates yet, with major improvements across the app to make caregiving tasks feel clearer, more organized, and easier to manage day to day. The biggest visual changes are in the Care Log and Schedule experience, where we’ve refreshed the design and improved the overall flow so important information is easier to find, easier to update, and easier to act on. These updates were built to help families and caregivers spend less time navigating the app and more time focusing on care. The Care Log has been redesigned with a cleaner, more modern experience that makes it easier to review updates, capture information, and stay aligned with the rest of the care team. We’ve improved the structure and presentation so entries feel more readable and the screen is easier to use across different device sizes. The result is a more polished space for tracking care-related updates and keeping everyone on the same page. We also made major updates throughout the Schedule section. Appointments, tasks, medications, and tracking-related screens have all been improved to create a more consistent and intuitive experience. Across these areas, we focused on making details easier to review, actions easier to take, and important care information easier to understand at a glance. Whether you are checking what is due today, reviewing an appointment, logging medication activity, or updating a care-related task, the experience should now feel more streamlined and easier to navigate. Medication and care tracking workflows also received meaningful improvements in this release. We refined the way medication activity is displayed and logged so day-to-day tracking is clearer and more reliable. Time and date information is shown more naturally in several parts of the app, helping screens feel easier to scan and reducing confusion when reviewing reminders, schedule items, or recent activity. We also made a number of smaller interface refinements across key screens so layouts feel cleaner, touch targets are easier to use, and information is presented more consistently. Sign-in and account access have also been improved. This release adds support for simpler sign-in options, including Google and Apple, while also strengthening account protection with additional verification steps. Depending on your account setup, you may now be asked to verify your email address or phone number, and some users may be asked for an additional verification code during sign-in. These updates are designed to make accessing the app easier for users while also providing stronger protection for sensitive care information. In addition to the larger redesign work, this update includes a wide range of quality-of-life improvements, fixes, and performance updates across the app. We addressed issues affecting screen behavior, layout consistency, and reliability in several areas, and continued polishing the overall experience on both phones and tablets. From onboarding and authentication to schedules, notes, notifications, and settings, this release brings a more stable and cohesive experience throughout WithinReach. Overall, this update is focused on making WithinReach feel more modern, more secure, and more supportive in everyday use. With a redesigned Care Log, major improvements across every part of the Schedule experience, stronger sign-in and verification options, and a broad set of usability refinements, this release lays the foundation for a smoother and more dependable experience for patients, caregivers, and families alike.

1) Calendar day/date alignment Calendar screen. Before this update, weekday headers and day numbers drifted out of alignment because the cell spacing pushed dates slightly off their column. The grid now uses inner padding so the day and date stay aligned on all devices. 2) Today's Agenda on small screens Dashboard - Agenda. Previously the header felt cramped on smaller phones and text/tap targets were distorted because too many elements were competing for space. The header is now simplified with clearer spacing and larger touch targets, so it reads cleanly on small screens. 3) Edit your profile name Settings - Profile. Before, your name was fixed after sign-up. You can now edit your first and last name from Settings, and the change syncs across the app. Limit: up to 3 name changes every 30 days. 4) Delete Account dialog fixes Settings - Delete Account. The dialog used to be too tall, inputs jumped while typing, and the delete button did not reliably enable. It now sizes to your screen with scroll support, inputs stay stable, and the Delete Account button activates once you check all boxes, type "Confirm", and download your data. 5) Stay signed in (temporary behavior) App launch. Previously you were often logged out after closing the app because session tokens were not being restored reliably. Sessions are now saved in secure storage; you may briefly see the sign-in screen before the dashboard loads. This short flash will be fully removed in the next release. 6) Safer text fields Notes, medications, appointments, tasks, and other text fields. We now block unsafe inputs (like HTML/script tags and invalid characters) before they are saved, improving safety and data quality. 7) Approve/Deny access requests works end-to-end Settings - Family Members / Requests. Approving or denying a request now saves on the server and refreshes the family list for everyone, so changes persist after refresh. 8) Family size limit shown during sign-up Sign-up - Enter family code. The app now checks the 10-member cap and shows a "family full" message if the code is at capacity, preventing you from proceeding. The server still enforces the same limit. 9) Private Journal prompts match your role Private Journal. Prompts are now based on your role: patients see patient-focused prompts, and caregivers/family support see caregiver-focused prompts.
