Buggy, but does the job.

I am reviewing the app, not the company (whom is amazing to work for). The app is intuitive and sleek but will often act ‘buggy’ and duplicate available shifts or only show shifts for the next two days. This is often mended by simply resetting the filter, but this obviously destroys whatever filter setting you might have. I would like to see the addition of the ability to review a particular place, but only after you have worked there at least once. I often rely on my own research to decide on where to choose to work so it would be nice to know the pros and cons of each place beforehand.

Treat your staff better!

So, they advertised and started a new system of assigning levels. HORRIBLE! If you, for any reason, cancel a shift (even if more than 24hrs in advance), IntelyCare levels you down. Now, this means a lot of bad things, but the most annoying is that you are restricted from picking shifts. Mind you, this company cancels our shifts even at the very last minute, without any compensation. So, when we turn around and do the same thing, they punish us unnecessarily.

IntelyCare, in case y’all are unaware, we have lives too! People cancel shifts for real life reasons. Restricting our shifts makes budgeting and planning difficult for us normal people. And if y’all haven’t figured it out yet, it doesn’t even help your company either! Y’all prolly have a lot of staff, so you want to be doing shakara anyhow. One of the ways to level up is working 10 punctual shifts in a row without cancellations. If I’m allowed to only pickup one shift at a time, or just last minute shifts, WHEN will i get to 10??

System makes for a slow start.

They have a system that requires you to complete 8 shifts before you’re “unlocked” to pick up at more than a few facilities. The ones available to me are all an hour plus away, except for one. The closest facility is 35 minutes away and cancels almost every shift I pick up. I signed up almost two months ago and so far I’ve completed 1 shift and half of another because they forgot to cancel me so they kept me for 4 hours. I think you shouldn’t “punish” a person by restricting their ability to pick up shifts until they do something to deserve it. Needless to say, I’ve signed up with other agencies. I was so excited at the idea of how convenient this was but like most things, it’s too good to be true. Also the app will send an alert saying it needs updated before the update is even available in the App Store! So you can’t use the app until you can update it. That makes no sense.
