This app is easy to use and worth the fee wish it could be separated into binders in the app so you separate the value deck in each binder . Also it had a group chat option to trade with people all over the world or like a basic trading process something kid friendly. Also a way to send cards to the company to verify cards are real at a monthly fee limitation to how many cards you can send in because card fakes are getting two good
Am I missing something?
Elmogallen
The app scans cards fast, but there seems to be a lot of basic functionality I can’t seem to find? For example I want to sort my collection by most valuable cards. How do I do that? I’d like to export my cards as a csv so I can do some analysis over them or put them up for sale programmatically but I don’t see a way to do that either. Also the app crashes after about 30 snaps. Also I would have expected some kind of mode where I say I’m entering cards into my collection so I can snap it, have it automatically go in my collection and I press a button to immediately get back to snap another. Right now it’s snap, add to collection, wait, click new.If you fix all that it would be great though.
Developer Response
Hi Elmogallen, thank you for the excellent suggestions; we are actively working on adding value sorting, CSV export, and a continuous scanning workflow in upcoming updates to make the process smoother. Regarding the crashes after multiple snaps, this may be related to device memory, so restarting the app periodically can help while we work on a permanent stability fix; please feel free to contact us at support@thevisionext.com with any other ideas to improve the app.
Not great for Magic: The Gathering
Disastr_Dave
I understand that this is likely more focused on Pokémon cards. But using this for Magic, the gathering cards is underwhelming, especially considering the price. I did not find that the grading was accurate by any means, especially for magic cards that have borders with different treatments it would pick those up as chips. Overall, it also significantly lack important information about the set that the card was pulled from. Absolutely no support for entering large quantities of card quickly, as each card takes a 5-10 seconds to register and you can’t just scan scan scan scan scan. I think with work it can do better but it’s too simple for me. For now I’ll stick with my tried and true apps
Developer Response
Hi Disastr_Dave, thanks for your honest feedback. We understand your frustration with the Magic: The Gathering experience and the grading accuracy, especially with special borders being misidentified. We're actively working to improve MTG support and enhance our grading algorithms for better precision. We also hear you on the need for faster multi-card scanning and more detailed set information; these are features our team is exploring. Your input helps us prioritize improvements, and we're committed to making the app more robust for all TCGs. Please feel free to share specific examples or suggestions with us at support@thevisionext.com so we can investigate further.
Good app, Bad scan
LAS2416
This app is really well put together. I like seeing my older cards that I kept in a binder for decades have a value. Only issue I truly have is that I can scan the same card 5 times and get 4 different versions of that same card. Sometimes, I have to stop myself from getting too excited because I notice the number is different. Same Pokemon, just from a different collection. Wouldn’t have anything bad to say except for that constant inconvenience of not having my cards in the system or wrong identification of card. Love seeing the values of my cards going up though!
This update incorporates user feedback to further improve Favorites, now including practical features like favorites export.
