Hiker's Weather also features a safety algorithm inspired by the decision matrix created by one of the top search and rescue teams in the country. So if the weather is too dangerous to hike, we'll tell you! We'll also tell you if it's worth climbing all the way up to that vista with our view forecast, because who likes getting fogged in at the top? And if you hike in an area with microclimates, you'll love our map view feature, which lets you scan area trailhead and mountains for the best weather.
