The new app isn’t bad at all, it’s just heavily focused on personal health, such as health tracking, programs, and even suggests local parks to go to (exercise I assume). Overall, it’s still pretty easy to access your discount card, paycheck, and benefits.

I wasn’t very excited about the new app because I already knew how to navigate the old one, but I figured I would give it a try. A big thing is accessibility. Although there are links within the entire app to get to almost everything I had on the previous app, it takes about five extra steps on average to get to it. I work on the road and so I have to use the app to clock in and out. I can’t clock in and out on the app at all. Before the update, every time I would try and clock in on the app it would crash. I would have to export the link to an external browser and then do all my clocking in and out there. I was very excited about the update and hopefully having that bug fixed. It is still not fixed. I feel like it’s because I have to go through so many different steps to get to the clock in screen that it’s overloading the app. I really enjoy all the health benefits that I’ve been given access to… But I just need to be able to clock in.

The old app was easier to navigate and didn’t push so hard on the wellness bull they try to add in there. They’ve made it harder to view paychecks, navigate, easily pull up your discount card. The update was silly and useless and just makes navigation so much harder. ALSO, they removed access from the old one completely so I have no choice but to use this new one for fast access to the important things I need. It’s dumb and unreasonable.

Why, as an employee, am I borderline forced to let this new app track my health? My alcohol consumption? My steps? It’s literally a health app. Why does this company need that info about me and why do they make an ENTIRE NEW APP and SHUT DOWN THE OLD ONE so they can stalk my personal health, relationships, etc. I’d highly recommend changing how the new app works and bring back most the old screens and such that we had. This turned from a job to a weird stalking-like app. I’m super uncomfortable about these changes.
