This is a really good app and really helps speeding up the process of typing by just dictating. The accuracy is as good as ChatGPT in my opinion, even better than Gemini when strictly talking about AI.The only issue is that when you don't want to dictate and just want to use the keyboard as a typing keyboard, it would be nice to have the typing by swiping functionality also baked into it, so that it's the only keyboard you ever need. Also, it would be nice to have one-hand typing just like any other keyboard.

Well, a voice does a pretty extraordinary job accurately taking dictation for exceeds the ability of the built-in Apple voice to text. That said the implementation and app are both little on a clunky. When you activate it, it switches to the Willow Voice spirit, which you then have to slide back to where you were trying to dictate. Unfortunately, it always goes directly back to messages, even when you're trying to dictate in other places. It's caused me to send some pretty unusual texts to people. Secondly, the iPadOS version seems to be deeply flawed and at the moment won't even activate. Even after flipping the toggle, there is no hotkey for the Magic Keyboard, which makes it very difficult. Activating it generally means you have to remove the iPad from the keyboard. Again, the voice recognition tech is outstanding. The use in the real world is flawed and needs significant improvement.

This app has some fundamental flaws that makes it unusable for me. First off the height of the keyboard is about 100 pixels taller because it adds a row below the keyboard for the global keyboard shortcut as well as a row above it for their very tall dictation UISecondly, the app wants to be always recording audio in the background even when you don't have the keyboard up. This would drive me nuts. Not only is it a privacy concern. It's just also very annoying and probably wastes battery. if you turn off the setting to record in the background, then you have to redirect to the dictation app every time you wanna start dictation, which is also annoying It seems like they've done a great job of integrating as much as you can into a native iOS keyboard but unfortunately, privacy restrictions from Apple and API availability makes this a subpar product IMO

I really enjoy using this program. It saves me a ton of time, and I love how it works well with other apps. In comparing this to WISPR FLOW, I have noticed that some of the punctuations aren't as good. Crisp as that program and Willow only works for iOS and not Windows. You can see, even in this message, certain issues.In addition, Whisper has a free version that does a limit of characters where Willow does not. I do feel that this program seems to work with more apps than Whisperer. The downside for me is the cost. It seems all these apps have monthly fees and it just adds up over time. This had a free version, but for now I'm going to continue using this because I do really like it.
