Med Mastery can be finished. Some medications asked for more answers than the quiz could ever show you, so they never reached mastered and kept returning to the top of your queue. Naloxone, epinephrine and midazolam were the worst of it. Med Mastery knows what you actually know. MASTERED NOW MEANS MASTERED A med only counts as mastered once you have covered every dose, route, indication and contraindication it carries — not after a couple of right answers. If your numbers drop after this update, that is the point: they were generous before. SELECT ALL THAT APPLY Meds with several indications or contraindications now ask for all of them at once, instead of pretending there is one right answer. SEE EXACTLY WHERE YOU STAND Tap any med to see what you have been asked, what you got right, and which facts you have never seen — with the real doses from your protocol listed. PRACTICE A TOPIC AGAIN Solid on the doses but shaky on contraindications? Reset just that part and it comes back, without losing the rest of your progress. Before you begin, it tells you how many of your medications actually carry that dosing, so a shorter session is never a surprise. Your formulary shows every medication again. The med list no longer hides drugs behind a dose filter — everything you can switch on or off is always there. Pediatric questions now use pediatric details. A peds dose question shows the pediatric route, and every age range your protocol lists comes through instead of only the first. Editing a medication no longer fills in placeholder text. Opening a med with no dose used to pre-fill wording that looked like it came from your protocol. Those fields now start blank, so nothing gets saved that your document never said.

Uploads that finished now reach you. - Interrupted uploads keep trying. If your protocol finished processing but the app closed or lost signal before it arrived, we only ever got one chance to deliver it — and usually missed. The app now keeps trying until it lands. - Slow protocols aren't lost. Large protocols sometimes took longer than the app was willing to wait. Those were finishing the whole time; the app just stopped listening. It waits for them now. - You're not charged for what you didn't get. An upload that never reached your phone used to count against your monthly limit anyway. If that happened to you, we've credited it back.

No more repeating setup. If you already have a protocol loaded, ProtoQuiz stops walking you back through first-time setup. One less thing to tap through during setup. Faster to open Medicine Mode, plus fixes for uploads that fail partway and for the app starting up without a connection.

Fixed a bug that could close the app during a Med Mastery session, especially on longer study runs. Scanned protocols now work everywhere. If your agency only publishes scans, scenarios and algorithm quizzes can finally read them. Also in this update: - Interrupted uploads finish themselves. If the app closed mid-upload, we pick your protocol back up next time you open it instead of making you start over. - A failed upload no longer strands setup. If your protocol didn't go through during first-time setup, you can keep going and add it later. - Clearer answers when a protocol can't be read, so you know whether to try a different file or just carry on.

Better answers, and protocol links that finally work. WRONG ANSWERS EXPLAIN THEMSELVES Miss a question in Learn Mode or a med quiz and you now get the reason, along with the part of your protocol it came from. Contraindication questions also tell you what each wrong choice actually IS a contraindication for. MEDICINE MODE BREAKS WORDS DOWN Clinical terms now show the word roots they are built from and what each part means, so the next unfamiliar term is easier to decode. Topics with more to say now go a level deeper. PASTE YOUR AGENCY'S PROTOCOL PAGE Most agencies link their PDFs from a regular web page rather than linking a PDF directly. Paste that page and ProtoQuiz finds the protocol files on it and lets you pick the one you want. PROTOCOLS THAT COME IN PIECES When your agency splits protocols across several PDFs, select them all and they import as a single protocol. UPLOADS THAT FAIL If an upload fails you can leave your email and hear from us when it works, instead of finding out by trying again. Failure messages are clearer about what went wrong and whether retrying will help.
