See what the fish are eating right now. Fishbyte's hatch charts show what insects are active, then suggest the fly patterns to match, so you can arrive at the river informed and ready. Our charts are scientifically driven by live water temperature data from nearby sensors, not a static calendar, so they show what is actually happening on the water.
KNOW THE WATER BEFORE YOU GO
Check real-time flow rates and water temperatures from live sensors on rivers and lakes near you. Temps come with species-specific overlays, seasonal context, and 10 year averages, so you know if conditions are right for the fish you are after. If it's getting too hot to fish for trout, or too cold for bass, you can find out fast in the app.
FISH OFFLINE, ANYWHERE
The app was built to work without cell service. Download offline maps before you head out and have full functionality in the canyon, on the boat, or off the grid. Your saved points, species data, and tags stay available regardless of cell signal.
A MAP BUILT FOR ANGLERS
Explore detailed maps of lakes, rivers, streams, and creeks across the western US. See which species live in each waterbody, find public access sites with boat ramp info, and drop private points to mark the spots that matter. Organize them with tags and find them fast. Toggle the map to 3D to see topographic relief.

Chasing cutthroat? Walleye? Bass? Filter the map to highlight every waterbody where your target fish lives, or search any water by name.
