However, what humanity faced was not a hopeful future. As the end of winter approached, the massive horde of the Undead—drawn to the barren lands of the North by the Tower—began to spread across the entire continent.
Confronted by this great migration of the dead even before the cold had fully retreated, the mortal races were plunged into an unprecedented era of struggle, without even a moment to share the joy of survival.
Clinging to a slim chance of life at the tail end of the long winter, each race must now prove their worth one last time through a desperate, life-or-death struggle.
