Nothing leaves GearGrove until you flip it on for a specific kit, so you decide exactly which kits SessionTrail can see. • Local share, no cloud: kits travel between the two apps through a shared container on your device. Perfect for moving to a new device or keeping a safe copy. • Kit summary cards now break down contents by type: "3 lenses · 2 cameras · 1 flash" instead of a single generic count. • Added Microphone as a first-class accessory type, with brand presets for Rode, Sennheiser, Shure, DPA, Saramonic, DJI, and Hollyland. • Enter weights directly: cameras, flashes, and accessories now have a text field alongside the stepper, so you can type the exact gram value from the spec sheet. • Every brand, type, category, mount, and wireless system picker is now sorted alphabetically — no more hunting through a random order. • Import errors now show a clear alert instead of a quiet message at the bottom of the screen, and partial backups with empty categories import cleanly. • Fixed a few missing translations on the accessory and flash detail screens. • "More from the developer" now reliably opens the developer's catalog on the App Store, regardless of your region, and the description is clearer: all apps and games by the same developer, including other photography tools. Version 1.6 introduces two new Pro features: Wishlist and Gear Kits. The Wishlist lets you track lenses you plan to buy. Set a target price, priority, and use case for each item. When adding a lens, you can pick directly from the built-in database of 320+ lenses to auto-fill all specs, or enter details manually. Once you have made a purchase, swipe to mark the item as bought — enter the final price, date, and condition, and the lens moves straight into your collection. Gear Kits let you group lenses by shooting scenario. Create a kit for travel, weddings, or any other purpose, assign an emoji and name, and select which lenses belong to it. The kit view shows at a glance which lenses are available and which are currently lent out. The lens database has been expanded to 320+ entries and now includes the complete Nikon Z lineup for the first time, recent Canon RF and Sony FE additions, and several 2024 and 2025 releases across all brands.
