I’ve tried many of the knitting apps out there, trying to find some thing simple, easy to use and set up, with no annoying ads. This is it! I set up a repeating stitch counter, 8 rows/22 times, and away I went. Easy to read, and just the info I want without fuss. It also keeps my pdf pattern in the background, with an unintrusive stitch marker overlay if I need it. I foresee that being great for lace knitting. Honestly, I love this app. I don’t want to mess with subscriptions, but would love to support this developer with a one time app purchase, so she can keep this app polished, and working with updates, if they’re ever needed. It’s perfect!

Straightforward and Easy to Use

This App is just what I was searching for. It does the obvious like row counting, has a place for the nuts and bolts of a project, like what yarn and hook I am using, and can import a PDF pattern. All with no ads, and no data mining! My only suggestion at this time is that I would appreciate line breaks in the area for recording my yarn and hook information. I just finish a project that used 5 yarns and the information just doesn’t fit well. Thanks for such a nice app for this purpose.

This app does exactly what it needs to do. I love that I can track multiple projects at the same time. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a “finish” to the counter, so when I do a certain number of rows or repeats it tells me I’m done. It would be nice to have but this app is also great the way it is. Thanks!

I’ve tried a lot of different apps for my knitting, and this is the first one I’ve found that does everything I need, doesn’t show me ads, doesn’t crash, looks clean and acts snappy. For the knitters out there looking for simple counting and organization, look no further.
KnitCounter is now on Apple Watch.
• Count rows from your wrist without picking up your phone
• Your sections, automatic repeats and count-by work the same as they do on the phone
• A timer for each section, which you can start and pause from either device
• Everything syncs both ways, and catches up when your phone is back in range
The watch app installs from the Watch app on your iPhone, under Available Apps. It requires watchOS 10 or later.
