Video of any length: trim a clip as long as you like and save all of it. Sync to Audio: the effects pulse with the spikes in the sound, a beat, a clap, a slammed door. Turn on Sound to hear the clip while you edit. 4K is offered when the clip itself is 4K, so what you save is what you shot. Long videos tell you they will take a few minutes, and the screen stays on until they are done.

Fixes video saving. In 2.0, saving a clip that has sound, which is every clip the Camera app records, could stay on RECORDING and never finish, in 1080p and in 4K. It now saves at both sizes with its sound. Sorry to everyone who hit this, and thank you for your patience.

MODUL8 2.0 is rebuilt from the ground up. Video: open a clip, watch it play through your effects, trim it and save it in 1080p or 4K with its sound. Ten new Premium effects, from Satellite to Chewed. The 19 classic effects are still yours without a subscription.

The camera and photo library prompts now appear in your language. Previously they were English and Japanese only, in an app that has been fully translated since 1.3.

No more ads. MODUL8 is now free with an optional Premium plan, and there is a yearly option that saves 50%. The app speaks ten languages, and free saving goes up to 1024 pixels. Also fixed: effect and preset names were showing as raw labels in English.
