Watch distances to the center of the green are listed on their own, free for everyone, next to front, back and hazards. And if you get Premium through your club or organization, everything that comes with it now shows as unlimited. Setting up a round feels smoother too. When you add a player, the button or the player you tapped shows right away that something is happening, and an extra tap no longer adds the same player twice. The exact handicap field shows its decimal on every step, and leaving or deleting a game before it starts shows a spinner until it is done. In chats, your own reactions now stand out in blue, so you can see at a glance which messages you have already reacted to. We have also made saving scores and finishing rounds much faster when you play far from Europe, and made sure a round can never be saved twice. A message you just sent no longer shows up twice, connecting a Garmin watch over Bluetooth no longer ends on a blank page, and opening a notification or a link takes you back to your home screen instead of stacking a second one on top, plus various small fixes and improvements. Folded, the scoring screen now wraps its distances neatly around the camera, and every screen keeps clear of the side column with the clock and status icons. On iOS 27, your Live Activity fits the upright Dynamic Island too, with the hole and distance stacked so you can read them at a glance — and it stays steady instead of jumping every time the distance updates. The feed now loads in one smooth go, with your friends' rounds first and cards gently fading in. Invites only show up on the home screen once you actually use them, and answered invites get a clear check mark. Know every hole before you get there. Previewing a course in the Course Guide is now open for everyone. Walk through each hole on satellite maps, with distances from the tee to greens and hazards, and plan your round before you even reach the first tee. Want the same view when you are out there? Premium adds live GPS distances from where you stand, on your iPhone and your watch. Your club feed keeps you up to date as well. When a course map has been improved, the club lets you know with a post, and club posts now reach everyone who follows the club. The number on the app icon tells you when something new is waiting. You can also start group chats with the people you play with, name them and give them a photo — handy for planning the next round. This update makes your Apple Watch a golf companion that can stand on its own. Start a round right from your wrist. Pick a nearby course, add your playing partners and tee off — no need to take out your phone. Once the round is underway, everything lives on the watch: distances, scoring, automatic shot tracking and hole changes keep working even if your phone stays in the bag or the cart drives off. Every shot and score you save is kept safe on the watch until it has reached us, sent over Wi-Fi or cellular when available and through your phone when not. A small icon lets you know if anything is still on its way. Curious what your numbers say? After five rounds, unlock the full Premium statistics free for 24 hours. In chats you can now tag events with @, and connecting a watch is easier to find under the new Watches & Integrations in settings. This update is about the people you play with — and the holes worth playing for. Chats got more social. Type @ in a group or event chat to mention someone, and they are notified right away. Tap the members icon at the top to see exactly who is in the conversation. Event chats now fill themselves: everyone on the start list is added automatically, and group admins can add or remove players by hand. Closest to the pin, longest drive — when your group reaches a contest hole, everyone gets a heads-up, and the contest shows on your lock screen and Dynamic Island right above the distance. This update is about keeping you informed and helping you finish what you started. If something is not working as it should on our side, you will now hear it from us in the app. A short notice appears at the top of the home and login screens, and you can tap it for the full story and what we are doing about it. The reminder about an unfinished round now takes you straight to that round. The round settings open with Save and End Round in view, gently highlighted, so you can file the round in one tap and know where to find the button next time. See you on the course!

This update is about finishing the round where you play it — on your wrist. When you save the last hole on your Apple Watch or Garmin, you can now end and submit the round in the same press, without reaching for your phone. A round finished on the watch is also kept exactly like one finished on the phone, with side games, tee and weather included. Garmin players can switch greens without coverage and trust that the choice sticks once the signal returns. Picking a nine-hole course through search or a link now starts it as nine holes, as it should. Our Chinese, Japanese and Korean translations have been reviewed and improved throughout, and we have added new courses in Japan, South Korea and France. See you on the course!

This update is mostly about staying out of your way. Signing in lasts much longer. The app now renews your session quietly in the background, so you no longer get sent back to the login screen while you are trying to use it — and when you open the app after a long break, it sorts itself out before the first screen appears instead of showing you half-empty pages. The scoring tabs are easier to read at a glance, with clearer icons and a marker on the tab you are on. Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12 are now shown by name rather than just "Apple Watch". We have also kept everything running smoothly on the latest iOS, and added a new course. This update brings better support for indoor golf and more flexibility during your rounds. Indoor rounds now use a separate indoor handicap, keeping your simulator golf separate from your outdoor handicap. You can also change handicaps and received strokes after a round has started, and remove players from spontaneous rounds if they need to leave. Saving a hole now asks first when the round never reached the green, on your phone and on your watch. A watch worn in heavy rain registers taps nobody made, and one of them landing on Save could file a score for a hole you were still playing. The course guide is easier to read, with reworked label sizing and spacing in both the PRO guide and the satellite view. The watch feature cards scroll properly now and show content matched to the watch you actually own, instead of the same generic pitch for everyone. Round speed is also correct for rounds that do not start on the first hole. A round starting on the tenth used to report the wrong per-hole times and a total covering only part of the round. We have also prepared over 30 more Garmin devices for a more feature-packed version of the watch app. Make sure you update the app on your watch to get all the new functionality. This update makes the watch experience sharper, especially when you use the course guide during a round. Place a target in the phone course guide and your Garmin can now pick it up even when the Bluetooth link is not there, so you still get the distance to the exact spot you chose. Legacy Garmin watches are also more reliable after pairing or after an old round has gone stale, with fewer cases where the watch sits idle until the app is restarted. We have also polished the way Pin High talks about premium watch distances. If you own an Apple Watch or Garmin and have played a round, the home screen can now highlight the watch features in a more personal way, and the message shown when free green distances are used up is clearer. Players in Japan, Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, India and nearby regions should also see snappier response times thanks to new regional server capacity closer to them. This update is about the details around your round, especially watches, photos and course data. Rounds in the feed now show which watch each player wore, so it is easier to see how the round was played. Shared feed posts also look better on the web, with the full post shown and cleaner link previews. Photos are easier to get right: pick any part of a picture instead of being forced into a square crop. Profile and group pictures are also scaled down before upload, so they are lighter and quicker. We now warn you before you start a round on a course we have not mapped yet, with a one-tap way to ask us to map it. Finding nearby courses is clearer too, both when location is off and when there is nothing nearby. Watch rounds are more reliable from the iPhone app: starting a round, handing it over to the watch, playing offline and returning to the saved scorecard all have smoother fallbacks. The app also better protects against stale course data and wrong default scores on unplayed holes. We also fixed a score-save error, refreshed home-screen stats after saved rounds, and made sure the course decides the country flag. Your stats just got more powerful. Explore your last 1, 5 or 20 rounds, or filter by year, with new trend charts for scores and handicap. We've also added fairway stats, showing your tee-shot accuracy and how hitting or missing the fairway affects your scoring. Free members can now try the full Course Guide for one round, with precise distances to greens, bunkers and hazards on both iPhone and Apple Watch. Rounds can now keep the final holes of the leaderboard hidden until play is over, and sharing is now available directly from the live leaderboard. We've also improved team game scoring and shot replays, made a number of fixes around detailed stats and scorecards, and added two new courses in Japan.

See how fast you played with new round pace stats, including total round time, averages by par and hole-by-hole timings. Player profiles now show recent activity, handicap progress and group achievements, and you can start a round on any hole. Players you follow are now included in on-course activity, while club information is easier to access throughout the app. We’ve also made major performance improvements to the social feed, simplified and clarified the round start experience, improved privacy behavior and made your handicap visible even without a home club.
