Never stand in the gym wondering what to do. Eureka tells you which workout you're recovered for and what weight to lift next—backed by real research, not bro science.
Confused by conflicting fitness advice? Intimidated by the gym? You're not alone.
Eureka Strength is built for adults 35+ who want to get stronger but don't want to wade through bro-science, influencer nonsense, or apps designed for 25-year-olds.
Never been to a gym?
Our First Visit Guide walks you through everything—what to wear, what to expect, the unwritten rules nobody tells you. Your first visit, you don't even exercise. You just look around. We go slow on purpose.
Returning after years away?
The app adapts to your experience level. Skip the beginner content and get straight to training with smart defaults based on your history.
What makes Eureka Strength different:
• First Visit Guide — A 4-stage system that takes you from "never set foot in a gym" to confident training. Checklists, facility finders, etiquette primers—all personalized to you.
• Recovery-Aware Training — Track muscle soreness with our body map. The app suggests which exercises to prioritize based on your recovery status. No more guessing if it's too soon for leg day.
• Evidence-Based — Every recommendation cites peer-reviewed research from ACSM, CDC, WHO, and major journals. Tap any research badge to read the actual study. No black boxes. No "trust me."
• Smart Exercise Ordering — Compound movements first, stale exercises prioritized. You'll learn why this order matters—and see the research behind it.
• Progress Tracking — See your strength gains with detailed graphs and estimated 1RM calculations.
• Apple Health Integration — Workouts sync automatically with accurate duration tracking.
Built by someone who gets it.

I’ve tried several gym tools and found Eureka Strength best by far. It fits naturally into my gym routine with easy tracking of reps, sets, and rests. Adapts easily, allowing me to fix typos, change exercise names, and quickly add new gym equipment or match the equipment name used at my gym. The tips, explanations, and literature references provide a solid foundation for learning.
This update makes backups rock-solid and fixes a couple of import bugs.
- Restoring from a backup now keeps all your custom workout plans. Before, multiple plans could collapse into one.
- Your soreness history survives a restore. If you logged more than once on the same day, those entries are no longer dropped.
- "Dumbbell Press" now imports as a dumbbell exercise instead of a machine.
- Behind-the-scenes improvements to how subscriptions are handled across sign-in.
