Love the simplified design compared to my old Mahjong app. The layout and colors are less stressful on the eyes, and even the music is relaxing. I recommend for anyone new to the game. They also have fun tile combinations that reference pop culture etc - I am going for the Queen Bey combination!

Limited functionality and doesn’t work properly - slowest speed is 3 seconds, which makes it nearly impossible to review discards from the bots, and I couldn’t identify the hand one bot was playing against the 2026 AMS card. Option to blind pass during the Charleston is missing, and I was half way through the hand before the game gave me the option to call a tile. During the Charleston, the game passes tiles automatically when you select a third tile (no final review). No option to view previously discarded tiles (only last tile), so you have to click over to the history (“log”) since the game moves at lightening speed. The app is also short any teaching features such as best hands. I would consider this very beta - def not rich in features. Not all apps have these, but other nice-to-haves: “undo” and blanks. BTW, the 9 dot tile is missing six of its dots.

This app deserves a pung.I am def a beginner and American Mahjong Society has made learning Mahjong on their app super easy! Clean layout, helpful tools, and addicting (in the best sense!). I can feel my confidence and skills building!
